Hey everybody, I’m here with a quick, to-the-point infusion for our podcast today. Thank you for joining us on the Jack Hibbs Podcast. The Economy and the Shifting Landscape

Let’s face it—Americans are going to start buying again, especially for Christmas. Just a few days ago, I told my wife Lisa that we’d have a minimal Christmas gift season due to inflation and the tough economy in America. But suddenly, with the election results, the stock markets opened on Wednesday morning and soared. Why does this matter? Because it signals change, even among Democrats and Republicans.

The extreme factions of both parties—the fringe groups—don’t matter in this context. The common Democrats and Republicans are seeing that the economy is improving, and that’s great news for the country, the middle class, and businesses. Big businesses are going to start buying land, building warehouses, and expanding their companies. Why is that important? Because it benefits the working class.

I’ve never worked for a poor person in my life, and neither have you. We need the rich to be blessed because they create the jobs that support our communities. The rhetoric that Trump wants to bless only the wealthy is misguided. When businesses thrive, jobs are created, and the middle class—the backbone of America—grows. Small businesses, when combined, dominate the economy, even more than giants like Dupont or Boeing.

Positive Economic News and Future Outlook

In addition, the Federal Reserve just dropped interest rates today, following the excitement around the election. This means good things for consumers. When the economy improves, people buy more—whether it’s food for their families, a new TV, or even taking a vacation. That’s how the economy works, and we’re seeing it play out right now.

So, where do we go from here? There’s a lot of optimism on the horizon, and we need to take action. Let’s recap where we’ve been, prepare for the future, and continue to promote positive change. Life has been on a fast track in recent years, and at times, it felt like we were headed toward chaos. But even in these uncertain times, God is moving. Stay tuned for what comes next.
