The Least Likely Place #2311. Behind all the Christmas scenes and imagery most people have grown up with, lie rich and beautiful ancient mysteries – Why was Messiah born where He was born – Open up the mysteries.
Dear Lord,
Today…….I am asking all my prayer warriors to say a prayer that may help others. So many people are hurting right now. Many are struggling with finances and need jobs. Some are facing foreclosure and don’t even know how they are going to make it from week to week.. Many are lonely. . Many are heartbroken. . Many are facing sickness and health is fading. . Some are dealing with difficult family members. Many have lost HOPE.. Tonight, let us put our prayers and faith together decree and declare breakthrough over our families. Financial miracles WILL take place. Jobs WILL be found. Our Bodies WILL be made whole & sickness WILL flee. Marriages and relationships WILL be restored. Family members WILL find Jesus. Heartbreaks WILL be healed. JOY WILL be restored and HOPE WILL be found. In Jesus Name. Amen!!!!!! Keep God First…….
It says in Genesis, you know the first time Bethlehem appears is in Genesis and it has to do with when Jacob is traveling with his family and with, with Rachel.
Rachel gives birth to her last son, Benjamin Benjamin, that’s where you get the name Benjamin from the last son of Jacob.
And as she does, she dies, she dies as she’s coming to Beth.
And if you go to Bethlehem today, you find a little tomb that’s called the tomb of Rachel, the tomb of Rachel.
And, and why is that, that tomb is there because of that?
And and it’s the first mention of Bethlehem. So notice Bedlam is also linked to sorrow too.
At the very beginning, the son Benjamin is called, he’s called Benjamin son of my right hand, but he’s also called, oh, he also says he’s called Ben on the son of my sorrow because Rachel died.
But notice there’s a, there’s a prophecy, it says Rachel is weeping for her Children.
Remember when, when sends them to kill the babies there or the infants, it says thus the pre the prophecy, Rachel is weeping for weeping in Rama, weeping in Bethlehem is what it’s saying, it’s like Rachel is weeping over her Children and refusing to be comforted.
It’s interesting because it’s applied to what happened there 2000 years ago.
But, and that, and a prophecy often has more than one fulfillment.
But, but it’s also comes from Je Jeremiah 31 that speaking of the end times when the Jewish people are gonna come back to the land, it speaks about a great calamity that comes to them before they come back like a holocaust.
And so it, it says, it says, you know there’s a day of calamity of darkness, but then God’s gonna bring them back.
But it says Rachel is weeping for her Children.
So it’s interesting because that prophecy is also about Jewish suffering and Messiah is born in that place and he’s joined to that.
And so it’s also given a hint that you know the, the the child, the baby that was born Benjamin also called the son of my right hand or also son of sorrows.
Jesus Messiah is also gonna be a man of sorrows, but at the end, he’s gonna be the son of the right hand.
He’s gonna be lifted up all going back to the mystery and know what it’s kind of saying is that the, the what comes into Bethlehem is coming in, there’s sorrow but it’s coming in, but it’s the salvation that he brings is gonna be one that often comes through sorrow, through tears, come you’re born again or you or you come closer to God or through death, you come alive.
So here’s the birth that comes to Bedlam has this property about it.
But there’s a the new birth is like that. But there’s another thing about it.
John in John six, Messiah says, for the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
And he says, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Yeshua said to them, I am the bread of life.
He who comes to me shall never hunger.
I am the bread that comes down from heaven and he took the bread and broke it and said this is my body.
Messiah is the bread of life. What does that mean? Meaning he’s more basic to our life than even food.
He is the, we need him bread. The bread is like the basic thing you need to sustain you.
We need Him more than we need anything else. What about Bethlehem?
Bethlehem is made up of two Hebrew words, one is bait, say it which we say in English, Beth.
But bait and the other one is, is bread. So it means bait, house of bread.
Place of bread. What a perfect place for Jesus to be born because He’s the bread of life is born in the place of bread.
I mean how perfect is that God is perfect.
And that, that’s why people, you know people are for 2000 years.
People are talking about Beth Lemon singing about Beth Lemon have no idea what it means.
But if for any, for Jewish ears or Israeli ears, they hear the place of bread.
So that’s where the bread of life is gonna come from. Heaven.
Bethlehem is not, doesn’t mean the house of filet mignon.
The house doesn’t mean the house of Alaskan King crab.
Definitely not that why, because you don’t need that most. The boat bread is what you need most.
So think about it. Where is he born in a manger?
Now we, when we hear manger, we think stable like this big thing.
That doesn’t mean that it means a little feeding thing for animals. Ok. So that’s where they ate manger.
What word sounds like that if you speak, if you speak Italian man, it means eat, it means eating place.
So the bread of life comes to the place of bread in a place that means eat.
Why you know what’s it saying? You know saying the world cannot satisfy our hunger.
That’s why he’s born in Bethlehem. That’s what it can never. He’s the bread.
He’s what he means, whatever what I need most it, that’s what he is. That’s why nothing else.
That means if there was something else that could fill you, that’s what would have been born in Bethlehem.
If it was money, they would have found money in the manger.
You know, if it was success, they would have found that if it was something, it was career, they would have found that a career agent there.
But they find a baby, they find Jesus because he’s the bread of life because he’s what we need most.
And that means we have, we know him.
We have to be partaking of him every day, partake of him to find out how you can receive more of Jonathan’s teachings to receive special free gifts or get in touch.
