The Power To Break A Generational Curse – Sarah Jakes Roberts & Dr. Cindy Trimm

Absolutely. Positively, everything in me was about to say happy Wednesday, but it’s not Wednesday.
It is very much so Tuesday unless you are catching this on a Wednesday.
And in that case, happy Wednesday, if you’re catching this on another day of the week, Happy Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
I think we have it all covered. How are you?
I am logging in checking in with you, I am so excited.
We are literally 2 weeks away. From my book power moves coming out.
And I’m so look, I have been going through it, putting all of these different posters in it, be because I am picking up the sections of things to talk about in each city.
So for those of you who don’t know, I am going on tour with the power moves book.
I’m really excited because my book, Walmart Evolve, came out.
It was in the middle of the pandemic, and so I’ve never had a book tour.
Walmart Evolve has done plenty of tours, but I’ve never had a book tour where the tour centers around this message in Revelation that god has given me And so I’m super excited about having this conversation from city to city.
We are going to Houston, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, DMV 2 times. The DMV girlies got us twice.
And we’re also going to Los Angeles.
And I have been working so hard really asking god, like, what do you want this to be in every city?
And god has given me a specific assignment for each city.
The first of all, when I started praying, I was like, god, of course, I want to share about this book.
But if you want me to go to a city and you want me to talk something that has nothing to do with the book, then I will do that.
Like, I don’t wanna limit or put restrictions on what god wants to do.
And so I was praying about each city. And, uh, I have conversation partners.
So we’re gonna be releasing those this week, but for each city, I’ve got a conversation partner.
So I’m gonna be there. I’m gonna be sharing about my book.
I’m gonna be sharing a message that god has given me that coincides with the book.
But I’ve also asked for voices to come and pour into anyone who’s coming to the tour event And so, uh, I can’t wait to share with you all who all is coming, but I wanted to talk for a second about how honored I am that for Chicago as a woman in ministry to have a pioneer to join me in Chicago means so much to me.
And I know some of you all are not gonna be able to come to Chicago.
Some of you are not in a position where you’re gonna be able to join us in I asked this incredible pioneer in women’s ministry to join me on a Instagram live to talk a little bit about what we’re gonna share in Chicago, but to share with you now, if you are not able to come to one of the tour stops, I wanna share uh, this gift, this vessel, this anointing with
you right now.
And so I believe that she is already in the room I am just looking for her request.
In the meantime, can you all just tell me where you are tuning in from?
It was their hometown.
Uh, she’s gonna be okay. So can I tell you in Chicago? God has told me.
That the impartation that we’re supposed to leave in that city is the power to bring a generational curse.
That is our assignment for Chicago.
If you are in the Chicago area, that is exactly what we are going to be doing.
We are going to be Uh, there she is the queen, Doctor Cindy Trim.
How are you?
You see me trying to do this all by myself.
Oh, god. I’m thankful. Well, we don’t care how you get there as long as
you get there. How are you?
I’m on Tabitha World’s Horizon, and so it excited, excited to join you on your chore.
Not just as an author, but someone that is influencing a life on planet earth, particularly with women.
And, um, what a pleasure it is to join you and be on your platform to encourage women?
To make their move. I think it’s a timely book, and it’s a timely conversation that we’re having.
So many people are stuck. And they’re trying to figure out the way forward.
So those of you that are in the Chicago area, I’m gonna encourage you to join us And even if you’re not in the Chicago area, the windy city, Chicago, popcorn, Chicago, hot dogs, even if it’s not myself and Pastor Sarah that’s drawing you there, it’s a zip code that I believe God is just going to kiss earth and we’re gonna be between the two kisses.
I cannot wait to just stand in agreement.
When I was praying, like I said, god gave me just specific mess disper each city.
And god told me that the women in Chicago need to be reminded that they have the power to brave generational curses.
And oftentimes when the enemy isolates us, when the enemy torments us with our fear, with our past with our anxiety, the point in doing that is to dilute that power is to clamp the flow of that power down.
And sometimes you need some backup in the spirit to do some of the heavy lifting with you.
And let me tell you If you think that I’m back up, Doctor Cindy Trim, like, I could just go and sit down.
Like, I’m gonna come out of Chicago and be like, here, I’m coming to sit down.
Because the impartation of grace, power, anointing vision clarity, the pulling down of strongholds, the warfare, that takes place when you open your mouth as astronomical.
Can you talk to me a little bit about generational curses and who we have to be in order to face off with things that have been facing off with our cities, our families, our community.
Yeah. There’s so much that goes into someone making a move, and that’s breaking, not just generational curses, but the culture that sustains that.
We now are talking about intergenerational trauma and what that does to a person mentally.
And sometimes, unless you make the unconscious conscious, it’ll continue to control your life.
And you will call it destiny, and you won’t say this is as good as it gets.
But god says that I create a new creature. And the vast majority of your mind is untainted.
It has never been heard. It has never been abused. It has never been rejected.
And having god, not just rewiring the part of us, that has been stemmed on and stopped and rejected and hurt, uh, to heal that part.
And I call that rewiring that part. But there’s a part of us that hasn’t been fired up.
And you you have to make your move from that new place.
God has has, um, just given us an understanding that all of us are created in the image and after the likeness of god.
And the biggest question that you ask yourself, well, what’s wrong with god? Nothing. So then what’s wrong with you?
Nothing. And, um, you know, what’s broken about nothing. So what’s broken with you? Nothing.
And a lot of times, you know, we have cultures that sustain a mentality.
And when you read the Bible, just the Bible alone, when god said to Joshua, this book of the lord shall not depart from out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.
You will make your way, uh, prosperous and have good success.
I mean, that scripture is so encouraging for all of us because it simply means that your past has nothing new to say to you.
So you might as well listen to your future calling you. And that’s what Destiny is.
Destiny is a dance with a decision that you make. And a decision determines Destiny.
And if you have the power to make a decision.
You have a power to make your best move and to break generational curses. How do I know?
Because it happened to me. I grew up in abject poverty.
Most people don’t know that, but I drew grew up in abject poverty. I didn’t have a father.
My mother was orphaned at 9 and raised her brothers.
So that’s the background that I came from.
So the reason why this book is important for all of us is because I can identify with what you have written in there.
The many generational curses that had to be broken off of my life and to understand that I was not a product of my environment I was not a product of people’s expectations, and I think the biggest wall and barrier that we have to overcome is the one of people’s expectations of us.
Talk about it. Yeah.
Yeah. So you were you were not the aggregation uh, someone’s estimation of you or even someone’s expectations of you.
And every now and then, sometimes we just gotta do a jabez move. Free.
It doesn’t matter what your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, the community stands, but what does god say to you?
And this is what you call the whispers of the spirit. And this is how you break through.
Believe what god is saying about you and not what anyone else is saying.
So post positioning yourself for that god whisper. And that’s how I made my mood. So
Okay. So first of all, you’re already preaching.
If you were just logging in, I am talking to the doctor Cindy Trim We are gonna be in Chicago together for the power moves tour.
It is time for you to make a power move.
One of the things that I love so much about what you’re sharing about generational curses and other people’s expectations is because we have so normalized some of these generational curses, we’ve normalized so much of our trauma.
We’ve normalized so many of these expectations that we don’t realize how powerful they are at keeping us from really reflecting god’s image on the earth.
And so my goal in coming to Chicago is to give you an impartation from the Holy Spirit that helps you to move in power so that you are able to not just break a generation Chris, but to then establish a new generational norm.
I cannot tell you what why god gave me this message for Chicago.
Each city god gave me something specific, but god told me that there is a generation of women.
And by generation, I don’t mean bound by age.
I mean, alive in this time, in Chicago or able to get to Chicago who he wants to make sure they recognize that you have the power to break a generational curse Chicago’s on a Saturday.
It’s a matinee. If you are anywhere within the Chicago area or can get there, I want to encourage you to come Be a part of the power moves tour because this power to break a generational curve is going to be so thick in the atmosphere.
And I was just talking to doctor Kim.
I was telling her I don’t care if we don’t get to any of the things that we have programmed.
I don’t care if we’re just prophesying and pouring And that’s how power is moving in Chicago, but we are not coming to Chicago just to play around.
We are coming to Chicago so power can move, and you can make a power move.
And so I’m just so excited, Doctor Trem, can you tell me what do you think happens when women come together?
Oh, uh, we become an unstoppable force.
And I always say if one woman can turn the world upside down, What can we do with 2 and 3 and 4 women?
We could turn it right side up. And so, you know, this is not just, um, women coming together.
But it is statistically proven that when women are bought into leadership position, it changes not only the trajectory of communities and families, but nations and nations, the GDP of nations are increased.
Just because you put women amongst the leadership.
And a lot of times, people are afraid of women coming together because they think this is a feminist move, but We’re not talking about a feminist movement here.
We’re talking about god’s agenda for the female gender.
And so god made 2 great lights, the sun and the moon.
And, um, so we’re talking about the greatness of women not at the expense of the greatness of man.
We are sun and moon, and we both can shine in our orbit.
And together, you know, the sun and moon meets day and night and and seasons.
And so we are, uh, adding our sentence to a narrative that god has spoken over humanity.
He gave Adam and Eve the mandate, be fruitful, multiply replenish.
Subdu is both male and females together, and I believe that a healed woman is a healed family, and a healed family is a healed community, and a healed community is a healed nation.
So if you want to heal a family in a community, then you heal the woman because you could teach a man to pitch and all you’re gonna have is one fish fry.
But teach a woman to fish and will feed the whole village. Because we’re gonna teach.
We’ll teach other women to fish, and then we’ll teach the family. So I’m excited.
I’m I’m happy that god made me a woman and not a man.
I love everything about being a woman. I love it. But we’re coming.
You know? Yeah. We’re coming we’re coming to fight a war, um, against our families and our communities.
And the only way that we can do it is to do it together.
Um, there’s no one in this world that’s my enemy. The only enemy I have is the devil.
And so we have to fight together. It’s better if we do it together.
A better me is a better we, a better eyes, a better us. So I’m gonna make myself better.
And I think making a move will encourage other women to do the same.
So, hopefully, we can make a move that changes the trajectory of our family where the box stops right here with generational curses.
And it stops right here. And then we can influence other women to do the same.
That is so my prayer.
It’s part of the reason why when I started writing my book, I wanted us to start from a place of feeling powerless because I know what it’s like to be a woman who has felt powerless.
Uh, I know what it’s like to battle with the power of shame, the power of trauma, and to think that this was just my plight, and I would just have to accept it, not recognizing that it was at actually a distraction from god’s power being made manifest in my life.
And so facing off with whatever is keeping us from being healed, whatever keeping us from moving in power is where my book power moves starts, but I don’t just leave it there because we have so many books about how we come to a place appealing.
I wanted to make sure that we’re not just being healed for heal’s sake, that we’re not just storing up power for our own confidence in areas.
But when you have been healed, when you have been experience, the power of god to restore, to deliver, to change the way that you show up in the world.
It changes the moves that make, but it is contagious, and it does give other people permission to do the same.
And so power moves is just about it’s just as much about making a power move as it is the reality that power moves you.
And when power begins to move you, other people have no choice, but to get in the flow, I just feel that already as we’re talking, I I can see in Chicago.
And I I love when we go to the windy city, because anybody who’s been to the windy city knows that there comes point when that wind is blowing where you just gotta go with wherever that wind is blowing.
And I am so excited that there’s gonna be a flow in Chicago.
And if you come into that room, you can unsured. You can be uncertain when you leave that place.
There will be no denying that power has moved you into a new position.
My favorite testimonies are the testimonies of people who came in saying, I didn’t really know what I was signing up for.
I didn’t even know if this was something that I was gonna need.
But then there was this moment where I felt a Chamber.
There was this moment where all of a sudden I felt freedom. I felt deliverance. I felt liberation.
And so I know that that’s gonna happen, and I cannot wait to just experience your anointing for myself.
I don’t even know the combination of our an meetings in Chicago.
I don’t even know what that’s gonna look like, but I’m a tell you, I’m a be prayed up.
You will not catch me sleeping with doctor Cindy trimming in the room. I’m a be prayed up.
Do not be alarmed when I come out just ready to go because there’s nothing that, I think, boosts me more than seeing another woman flowing in her power and her anointing can’t wait to see how that’s gonna overflow into the room.
Yeah. And I love this because it’s an intergenerational movement.
Is that, you know, it’s not just about a book, but it’s being able to hand a baton down to the next generation.
That affects the next generation.
So we’re talking about 2, 3, 4 generations from now being impacted just from one event.
And I think this is gonna be a watershed moment for not just women, but also for that zip code, you know, Every movement has a specific ZIP code, and I’m praying that whatever god has for this ZIP code in Chicago, it will spill over to neighboring states, and we would see an unstoppable movement of god.
I I I just believe that god is up to something great, and he has us in his mind.
And I think the other thing that I’m excited about is we get a chance to connect people with truth.
Everyone wants to tell their truth, but we want to see the truth about their purpose, the truth, about their significance, the truth, about their destiny, the truth about, uh, their vision, And I love love love this book because it’s like walking around with a, uh, coach a literary coach where they can open it up to pages and get practical
steps for making a move.
So it’s not just a book of fluff.
It’s a book of Revelation, you know, and I think We need more of it.
We need more encounters like this, and I’m happy to be a part of it. I’m very, very happy.

We’re gonna talk about you having the power to break generational curses.
What posture is required in order to do that? What prayers do we need to be praying?
What type of executive do we need to have? What healing do we need to disc to have in order
to break
a generational curse? And then we’re gonna pray. We’re gonna preach. We’re gonna prophesy.
And you are going to be caught up in the move of god. We are all gonna combine our anointing.
Yeah. Doctor Trims, myself, everyone in the room, bring your little bit of oil.
I hear guys and read a little bit of oil. It could just be a drop.
You may not even know whether or not it’s in there.
I hear guys saying that if you get in that environment, god’s gonna show you where the oil is.
God’s gonna show you how to low in it.
And so I want you to be there and join me, Doctor Trem, before we go, I am asking that you would just say a prayer.
Sure. We’re not just what god’s gonna do in Chicago.
But we’re gonna be, like I said, Houston, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, the DMV area, Los Angeles.
Can you say a prayer about this move of god that is taking place through the power moves for.
Um, I cannot just tell you my prayer is that when women walk out of the tour, and we got fellas coming too.
So I gotta say that we got some fellas coming.
Uh, when people walk out of this room, I I really want them to feel that being a force is not something that they’re gonna have to force.
That it is their natural position and posture as a kingdom kid, as a child of god, I want someone to be relieved from the stress of trying and to rest in who they already are.
It goes back to what you said when we first started talking.
If there is no brokenness in god, if there is nothing wrong with god, then there is no brokenness in you.
There is nothing wrong with you unless you have fallen for the light of enemy. You’ve Yeah. Yeah.
Supposed to do. But that came in the trauma,
and the
messages is sitting in your head.
And I am praying that people will walk out of each tour stop recognizing that I’ve always been a force.
I just got knocked off my square, but that they’re gonna move in power and authority.
Certainly. Father, we thank you for this moment in time where history is being made where history makers are being birthed We thank you for Pastor Sarah and the love that she has for not only women, but the things that you love and that is humanity and bringing us into alignment with your original plan and purpose.
And as this tour father begins, we pray that you would breathe success into it. Success is bottom line.
The bottom line is the salvation of human beings. It’s the bottom line that is, um, saving a soul.
So I pray father that souls will be touched. We pray 3rd John over their lives.
I wish above all things that you would prosper. And be in good health, even as your soul prospers.
And even as this tour goes from city to city, I pray that there is a movement that women will be reconnected, and even men will be reconnected with your original plan and purpose for their lives.
I pray father for technological success. I pray for trouble schedules.
I pray father that you would protect us from viruses that you would there will be no incidents or accidents, and everyone that is meant to be at every specific location that they won’t be there that nothing will prohibit them.
Nothing will stop them. I thank you now, father, for the vision that you have given pastor, Sarah.
That it will come to pass and that your agenda will be expressed in each city.
We thank you for the breakthroughs, the testimonies that will happen.
We thank you for the minds that will be regulated.
We thank you for the vision that will be given, and people that are even suffering from possibility blindness, they will be able to see again.
They will be able to see their way through the darkest of night.
And in the most, uh, adverse circumstances situations, that you would give strategies that you would give insights that you would give downloads.
We bless each individual, even those that are assembled, um, virtually even now wherever they are right now, whatever they’re dealing with right now, I decree and declare a supernatural breakthrough, be it financial or emotional, be it relational or parental, those that are grieving father right now for the deliverance of their
son and their husband, for the breakthrough of those that are in prison, for those specifically that are dealing with generational curses, I decree and declare that the curse is broken right now.
Bless our time together and father, according to your original plan and purpose, bring that to pass.
Let the message be clear. Let the message will be empowering.
And those that lack self efficacy, you have given power to the weak.
You said that the weak say that I’m strong and let them make power movement movements from this day onward that would change the trajectory, not only of their life, but of their family life, and future generations, and let us leave a legacy behind that connects each one of us to your original plan and purpose that you gave us in the
Garden of Eden to be fruitful, multiply, replenish them.
Do have dominion and live healthy in Jesus’ name. I pray. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Amen. I’m full already. Thank you so much for I I just told you, but just thank you for being who you are in the earth and for allowing us to be a recipient of it.
Truly. Our cup is overflowing, and I cannot wait to just get topped off in Chicago.
