Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that I can give You the image of how I see myself and begin to see myself the way You see me as blessed, prosperous, healthy, strong, talented, and successful. Help me to get the negative images out and the fresh, new vision in. I believe that my vision will become a reality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Dear God, thank You for this day that You’ve given me. Thank You for giving me the strength that I need. Sometimes I have fears, worries, and even doubts in my mind. Even in my lowest moments, I know I can face all things with You. When I am weak, You are strong. I have questions, but You have answers. I don’t know what I will face today, but You are already there, and You have already made a way. Thank You for being there. I trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. -Colossians 1:17
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
My God, as I begin this new day, I seek to receive only what I need to glorify Your name and fulfill Your holy will. Nothing in this world is more valuable than being in Your presence, feeling Your love, and knowing that You care for me with Your immense kindness.
As this new day dawns, I open my heart to You, trusting that You will heal all that is unwell within me. Heal every wound I carry in my soul, and fill me with the peace I so deeply need. I refuse to be defeated or overcome by the evil around me or within me. May Your powerful blood cover and shield me, and may Your love protect me from all harm, making me strong in the face of adversity.
God of life, today I place every thought and emotion before You. I come into Your presence because I want to speak with You, feel Your presence, and hear Your voice. I know that when I am in need, when I feel empty, when I am afraid, or when I lack answers, You are by my side. I want to live this day with the energy and enthusiasm that only You can provide. Here I am before You with all that I have and all that I am, knowing that You love me and desire the best for me.
Blessed Lord, guide me now to act with justice and truth. Mold me and reshape me according to Your will. I want to live this day with passion and dedication, fully assured that You are by my side, filling me with Your strength to overcome every challenge. Thank You for not abandoning me, despite my mistakes. Thank You for Your infinite patience and for the love that always waits for me, forgives me, and restores me.
God of goodness, help me to experience the love that only You can give—the love that heals, comforts, and gives life to my heart. Grant me the grace to hold on to only positive feelings within me. Help me to let go of pride, resentment, bitterness, envy, and any negative thoughts that distance me from You and others. I also ask for the strength to forgive those who have wronged me and the humility to recognize my mistakes and seek forgiveness when necessary.
I do not want pride or resentment to dwell in my heart. I desire to be free from anything that hinders me from loving with purity and sincerity. I am ready, Lord, to do Your will with love and to follow the path You set before me each day. Thank You for giving me the daily opportunity to speak with You through prayer, to express all that I feel, and to be authentic and free in Your presence. In You, I find the peace that the world cannot give. In You, I find the strength I need to face every challenge. Confident in Your presence, I step out to conquer this day, which will be a blessing for me and those around me.
Amen.
I will not fall into temptation today. If anyone tries to lead me astray, I will walk away and ask God for the temperance and strength to stay on His path. How can I repay the Lord for all the good He has done for me? I will lift the cup of salvation and call on His name (Psalm 115). May the Lord bless us on this day, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
