August 10, 2023! God’s Messages!

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

August 10, 2023!

Day 222 of 365
God is saying to you today,
“I am with you in the mountaintop
moments of celebration and the
valley moments of struggle. Trust
in Me during every season of life,
for I am working all things
together for your good. Have
faith, and do not be dismayed, for
I hold the future in My hands.”

God is saying to you today,
“In the moments when doubt creeps
in, remember that I have called you
by name and set you apart. You are
precious in My sight, and I have
chosen you to be a vessel of My love
and light in the world. You have been
equipped with the gifts and talents
necessary to make a difference in the
lives of those around you.’

Now, I believe for us to say, order my steps, Lord.
We must acknowledge that our steps can be led or directed by many things.
A person’s steps can be led by pride.
And if you are led by pride, well, Proverbs sixteen verse eighteen gives us the warning that pride goes before and a haughty spirit before a fall.
Now aside from pride, A person steps can be led by lust.
And if you are led by lust, then first Peter two verse eleven says, dear friends, I warn you as temporary residents and foreigners to keep away from worldly desires that rage war against your very souls.
So let me ask you the question. Who orders your steps?
Or who or what is leading you? Is it your pride? Is it lust?
Is it money or material things?
The Bible in one nineteen verse one thirty three says, order my steps in thy word, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Dear friend, can you truly say that you are walking with god Do you begin your day by calling out to the lord so that he may guide you?
So that he may take your hand and take control and take priority in your decisions, in your choices, and with what you focus on?
Who orders your steps? Is god’s word a lamp unto your feet?
When it comes to the manner in which you walk or rather who you are led by, we all should be aware that there is a war between the flesh and the spirit.
Galatians five verse sixteen to seventeen says.
So I say walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit what is contrary to the flesh.
They are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want.
The flesh is filled with a love of the world, a love of self, a love of pride, sinfulness, and unholiness.
But the spirit, to walk in the spirit, is to walk in a manner that is completely and totally devoted to Jesus Christ.
One way to describe walking in the spirit can be found in Second Corinthians five verse seven for we walk by faith, not by sight, So I encourage you to desire and submit to being led by god, be led by his word.
Be led by the Holy Spirit. Psalm one nineteen verse one thirty three to one thirty six.
Direct my steps by your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me redeem me from the oppression of man that I may keep your precepts.
May your face shine upon your servant and teach me your statutes.
Rivers of water run down my eyes. Because men do not keep your law.
Now let us pray.
Lord Jesus, I pray that you would remove any barriers blocking our hearts from being receptive to you.
May the Holy Spirit work within each of us to not only comfort and counsel us, but to convict and correct us.
May the Holy Spirit guide us to walk in your ways?
May the Holy Spirit work to challenge me and help me to conquer sin.
Your word in John fourteen verse fifteen to eighteen says. If you love me, keep my commands.
And I will ask the father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
The spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him.
But you know him for he lives with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you as orphan I will come to you.
Father you have given us as believers the spirit of truth, and we invite the spirit truth in our lives.
May the spirit of truth help us to see your word as guidance May he cause us to follow Psalm chapter one, which tells us how we should walk in this life?
For if we do not walk in the council of the wicked.
If we decide not to follow the advice and example of the wicked, then we are blessed and favored by god.
Help us Holy Spirit so that we would not stand in the path of sinners nor sit down to rest in the seat of scoffers.
But instead, may we be led by Jesus Christ?
I pray that my delight may be in the of god.
I pray that my delight may be in god’s precepts and teachings.
And only in your word, lord, will I habitually meditate day and night?
Fill me with more of you God and lead me.
Poor out your spirit because it is through the guidance and the intercession of the Holy Spirit, and we can draw closer to you, my lord.
And so we need to be led by your spirit.
And, father, we come in agreement asking for a mighty outpouring of your spirit over our lives because your word in Romans eight verse twenty six to twenty seven says Likewise, the spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
For we do not know what we should pray for as we are but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can not be uttered.
Now, he who searches the hearts, knows what the mind of the spirit is because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of god.
Lord, Jesus, you are worthy of all of our praise.
I pray for every soul that is listening in agreement right now.
May we be so filled with the Holy Spirit that we may walk in a manner pleasing to you.
Help us to walk habitually in the council and leadership of the Holy it.
Give us a heart that seeks direction from the Holy Ghost.
Give us hearts and ears that are responsive to the still small voice of your spirit, lord.
Give us hearts that are soft and receptive to the guide of the Holy Ghost, because if we are led by your spirit, lord, then we can overcome the desires of the flesh.
Only by the power of your spirit, lord, can we reject this sinful nature of the flesh?
Be glorified, lord. May your spirit fill us and our homes.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray, amen.
Perhaps you are unsettled within you. Maybe your heart is trouble.
Well, John fourteen verse one says, let not your heart be trouble. You believe in Gong.
Believe also in me. I urge you today to get to know the word of god for yourself.
Get god’s word within you. Read scripture as often as you can.
Memorize bible verses and meditate on them as often as you can.
These are basic things that we should be doing as Christians.
And the reasons we should be doing this is because we’re told in Joshua one verse eight that this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth.
But you shall meditate on it.
Day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.
For then, you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
The importance of god’s word is also made clear in colossians three verse sixteen.
As it reads, let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.
Teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.
Singing with grace in your hearts, to the lore.
And if you’re wondering why god’s word is so powerful, well, it’s powerful because of its longevity.
The word of god has withstood the test of time, and we’re told in Matthew twenty four verse thirty five, heaven and earth will pass away.
But my words will, by no means, pass away.
Another reason why god’s word is so powerful is because It cleanses. It transforms the center’s mind.
It reconstructs the center’s heart. Psalms one nineteen verse nine to sixteen.
How can a young man cleanse his way by taking heed according to your word?
With my whole heart, I have sought you. Oh, let me not wander from your commandments.
Your word, I have hidden in my heart. That I might not sin against you.
Bless are you o lord. Teach me your statutes.
With my lips, I have declared all the judgments of your mouth.
I’ve rejoiced in the way of your testimonies as much as in all riches.
I will meditate on your precepts and contemplate your ways.
I will delight myself in your statutes, I will not forget your word. Now let us pray.
Lord Jesus. Help us to keep your word.
Help me to keep your word hidden in the chambers of my heart.
I pray that I would not just know your word, but I might walk in your word.
Help me to keep your precepts diligently so that all my ways are directed by you.
Help me to keep your statutes. May your word convict my heart?
I pray that I would be someone who truly lives in obedience to your word.
May your word challenge me so that I would not live a life of hypocrisy where I can claim to be a Christian, but I am not a doer of the word.
Instead, father. I pray that I may live and keep your word with my whole heart.
Open my spiritual eyes so that I may see all of the wonderful revelations and promises that are in your word.
Holy Spirit, I pray that you would push me to meditate on god’s word.
Help me to make it a practice, to make it a routine to read the Bible and spend quality time in the word.
I know that there is a need in my life to get to know the word of god because it will change me.
It will build my character, and it would mold me into a vessel that the lord can use.
It will cut through every evil, carnal, and selfish thought within me.
And the word of god can even challenge my very attitude and perspective.
Father, the Bible says in Psalm one nineteen verse twenty five to twenty nine.
My soul clings to the dust. Revive me according to your work.
I have declared my ways and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.
Make me understand the way of your precepts. So shall I meditate on your wonderful works?
My soul melts from heaviness. Strengthen me according to your work.
Remove from me the way of lying and grant me your law graciously.
Father, I pray that I would be revived by your word.
May I be strengthened by your word?
May the Holy Spirit help me to not just meditate on your word, but to understand the word of god and become a student.
Of the word. I bless your name, and I praise you King Jesus.
Thank you for hearing this prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.

  1. This article that was wrote about God ordering our steps was really good, EXCEPT for ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL….why wasn’t GOD capitalized…really? What’s up with that!!!
That should not be…”God” should always be capitalized when referring to to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…that needs to be corrected

    1. I agree with your comments Sister. For some who are new christians who are learning the Word of God. They should edit these posts before posting them. God Bless You Sandy.

  2. Lots of grammar mistakes in this article above plus many capitalization mistakes I noticed I went back and reread it.
