A Night-time Prayer of Thanksgiving and Blessing

Dear Heavenly Father, as we lay down to rest on this night, we come before you with humble hearts, giving you thanks for all that you have done for us today. We give you all the glory and praise, for you are the source of all goodness and blessings.

Prayer for Peace as I Rest

Heavenly Father, You are the God of peace. Thank You that in Christ Jesus we have been given His peace which passes all understanding. Help me to rest in Him now and know His perfect peace in my heart, mind and body as I lie down to sleep. You are truly good, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Restoration and Rest

Lord Jesus, You are the Lord who restores our souls and gives us His peace. Thank You that in You we find rest for our weary hearts and minds. I pray that as I sleep Your Spirit would bring restoration to every area of my life that needs it. You are so good, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Revelation and Dreams

Father God, sometimes we can have such clarity in our dreams and sometimes we don’t. Help me to discern any messages or revelations You might be trying to give me through my dreams tonight. I also ask that if there is anything on my heart or mind that I need to deal with, that You would help me to dream about it so that I can process it and pray about it in the morning. You are a good Father, and I trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Protection as I sleep

Father God, thank You that we can rest in Your protection. Thank You that no matter what might happen in the night, we know that You are watching over us and will keep us safe. Help us to trust in Your care for us even when we are asleep and vulnerable. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 

As we lay down to sleep, we ask for your protection and guidance throughout the night. We pray that you would watch over us and keep us safe, that we may wake up refreshed and renewed in the morning. We trust in your promises to be with us always, and we know that you will never leave us nor forsake us.

As we think about tomorrow, we ask that you would bless us with your guidance and provision. We know that your plans for us are for good, and we trust in your wisdom and your goodness. We pray that you would open doors for us, and that you would lead us on a path of righteousness. We ask for your blessings to be upon our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

We pray for good health, for ourselves and for our loved ones, and we ask that you would give us the strength and energy we need to face the day ahead. We pray for wisdom and clarity of mind, that we may make wise decisions and be good stewards of the time and resources you have given us.

As we go to sleep, we also come before you with repentance. We confess our sins and our shortcomings, and we ask for your forgiveness. We know that you are a loving and compassionate God, and that your grace is sufficient for us. We ask that you would cleanse us from all unrighteousness and renew our spirits.

Lastly, we pray for those who are in need of your healing and your provision. We lift up to you the sick, the suffering, and the oppressed, and we ask that you would bring them comfort and peace. We also pray for those who are lost and searching, that they may come to know you and your love.

We give you all the praise and all the glory, Lord, for you are good and you are faithful. We trust in your promises, and we know that you are with us always, even until the end of the age. We go to sleep tonight in the peace and protection of your love, and we look forward to the blessings that you have in store for us tomorrow. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

May the love and blessings of Lord be upon you and your loved ones as you sleep and may you wake up to a new day filled with new opportunities and hope. Trust in the Lord’s promise and guidance for he will never leave you nor forsake you. Amen.
