Anchored by a Promise

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) In a world that is constantly shifting under our feet, this verse is a rock beneath us. People change. Jobs come and go. Even our own emotions rise and fall. But Jesus—His character, His faithfulness, His love—remains unshakably constant. That means the Jesus who saved you is the same Jesus who is holding you right now and will carry you into every tomorrow. He is not surprised by your circumstances, and He will not abandon you in them.

Hope for Ordinary, Hard, Beautiful Days

Some days feel spectacular; others feel painfully ordinary—or just painful. Yet God moves powerfully in all of it. When you wash dishes, answer emails, commute to work, or sit in a doctor’s waiting room, the Holy Spirit is with you. You do not have to feel “spiritual” for God to be at work. Today, invite Him into your real life: whisper a prayer as you drive, thank Him for a small blessing, ask Him for wisdom before a conversation. Little moments of turning your heart toward Him grow strong roots of faith. Over time, those roots hold you steady when the winds of life pick up.

Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith today. Where I am doubting, speak truth. Where I am fearful, remind me of Your power and Your kindness.
