Thankful Friday Blessings

Dear God, thank You for this day that You’ve given me. Thank You for giving me everything that truly matters. You’ve given me joy when I’ve been through the fire. You’ve given me peace when my heart has been overwhelmed. You’ve collected my tears and picked me up when I fell down. You’ve given me strength when I couldn’t go on. Your word in John 16:22 says, now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice and no one will take away your joy. God, thank You for this promise. As I stop and look back at how far I’ve traveled on this journey, I simply say thank You for being with me through it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart. -Psalm 7:10

Father, thank You that Your power to strengthen me in times of difficulty is greater than the greatest force that can ever come against me. Thank You that I can put discouragement behind me and stir up my faith. I believe that I am more than a conqueror and will overcome this. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

On this beautiful morning, Merciful Father, I come once again to Your feet to offer the work of my hands for this day that begins. Father of infinite goodness, I ask that You enlighten me with Your divine light so that I may step out into the world in Your name. Help me to live in true freedom, and may that freedom always guide me toward goodness. Fill me with the breath of Your Holy Spirit.

Grant me wisdom in making decisions that are always right and beneficial to all. I offer You my heart so that You may inspire me to live today according to Your word, which illuminates my path and helps me understand the root of my emotions. My God, I ask You to remove from my heart all the negative feelings that chain my soul to hatred and resentment. I do not wish to harm anyone with my words, so I ask You to fill me with love so that I may share it with all those around me.

Heavenly Father, I do not want the ways of the world to define me. I desire to live as You teach us through the life of Your beloved Son. Lord, I ask for Your forgiveness for all my past mistakes, and I beg You not to let me fall into the trap of sin again. I implore You to grant me the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit so that I may make the right decisions that lead me into Your presence.

Help me grow on my path to holiness, so that every day I may draw closer to You. Lord, I surrender my life to You and everything that disrupts my peace, preventing me from seeing and appreciating the greatness of Your love for me. Thank You, for in the breeze that embraces me, I can feel a gentle, fatherly caress that comforts me and gives me the strength to continue by Your side. Thank You, for in the surrounding silence, I can hear Your soft voice telling me that You love me and will always be with me.

I ask that You give me the wisdom to find meaning in everything that happens today, whether it’s a difficult situation or one filled with joy. This morning, I place You at the center of my life so that You alone are what truly matters as I seek transcendence. Do not allow the gifts, adornments, or material things to take the place that only You should occupy in my heart.
