Thankful Tuesday Blessings
Dear God, thank You for giving me another day. Thank You for giving me Your word that overflows with truth and life. Sometimes I get easily distracted, but I know that You’ve given me the strength to endure. Show me how to rest in Your promises and meditate on Your word so I will do the right thing. I know that I can’t do this life on my own, so I ask that You would lead me and guide me. I will put You first above everything else. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. -Psalm 37:5
Praise be to You, my Lord, for this beautiful day that You have allowed me to enjoy. Thank You for raising me up each day to continue my ongoing journey toward holiness. I am grateful because I feel secure in knowing that You hear and attend to my prayers. I firmly believe that You are here by my side, giving me the strength to move forward with every step I take.
My Father God, I ask that You grant me the strength needed to face the challenges of this day and the love necessary to always act according to Your will. Speak words of healing and blessing over me so that I may be attentive to Your voice and live fully according to Your guidance. Do not let my behavior disappoint You, Lord. Do not allow my actions and thoughts to stray from Your path. Protect my life and help me to see Your will so that I may follow it with effort and dedication on this new day.
Help me not to grow accustomed to routine but to live each day with gratitude and joy, savoring every moment as an opportunity to love and serve You. Let each instant be a chance to see Your hand guiding and protecting me. Thank You for Your constant companionship, for being present in my life even in moments when I am not aware of Your closeness. Help me to always walk with You and not let any obstacle separate me from Your love. Allow me to see and feel Your love in every small detail, in every situation, and in every encounter with others.
Illuminate my mind, Lord, so that my ideas, thoughts, and emotions may always reflect Your goodness. Lord of Heaven, I implore You to grant me faith, to gift me the ability to discover and feel Your presence in every situation in my life. I want, through the power of Your Spirit, to discover You as the One who desires the best for me and assists me in every one of my battles. I place all my goals, dreams, and aspirations in Your hands, Lord, because I trust that You know what is best for me. My life is in Your hands, trusting that You will provide the means necessary for me to achieve what You have planned for me.
Today, I ask that You fill me with Your presence, that You flood my being with You. Grant me a radical love that gives freely, for You have loved me freely. I trust completely in Your help, and so I open my heart for You to work within it. I place my entire life in Your hands, confident that You will guide me and provide everything I need to fulfill Your will. Lord, I desire to follow You wherever You may go; therefore, I commit myself today to strive to advance on the path of holiness. Amen.
I will dedicate a moment of silence to thank God for His creation and commit myself to better care for the environment.
