If You Seek Him, He Will Show Up | Jentezen Franklin
In today’s world, many families are broken, and homes are fractured, but to the individual who earnestly seeks the Lord, He will be your Father, your Mother, your Provider, and your Door Opener. He will bless your life in ways you never imagined. In Psalm 14:2, we are reminded that the Lord looks down from heaven to see those who seek Him. When you seek His face, God will whisper in your ear. There will be moments in your walk with Jesus where He asks, “Will you seek My face? I miss you. You’re not the person you used to be. You’re not seeking Me like you once did.”
It’s been a long time since I was with you, and while we may be saved, there is so much more to this journey than just having a “ticket to heaven.” God desires that we seek Him, and when He says, “Seek My face,” our response should be, “Your face will I seek.” This 21-day period can be a powerful time of seeking the Lord.
Psalm 34:10 gives us a powerful promise of provision: “The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” God is faithful, but we need His hand upon us for the year ahead. If we commit to seeking Him, we will lack nothing that is good. We must obey Matthew 6:33 and “seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, and all these things will be added unto you.” When you seek God with passion and commitment, He will not withhold any good thing from you—whether it’s a spouse, health, a home, a job, or financial provision.
Everything you need is found in seeking the Lord. Success, peace, direction, favor, and open doors come from seeking God. When you pursue Him diligently, He will bless you with all good things. You lack nothing when you go after God. Set aside these 21 days to fervently seek Him and aggressively pursue His presence.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck, addicted, or immoral, seek the Lord. The Bible says that those who seek Him will rejoice and be glad. When you carve out time to seek Him, He sees you, and He blesses those who earnestly pursue Him. It’s that simple. So, how is your seeking going? Are you actively seeking God with all your heart?
This week, I found myself reflecting on the year ahead. I wondered if I could continue to serve and preach with the same passion. The weight of the calling sometimes feels overwhelming. But then I heard the voice of the Lord say, “If you will seek Me, you can.” I don’t know what the year holds, but I know that as long as I seek the Lord, He will prepare me, guide me, and bring joy, peace, and victory. Seek Him, and He will take you to new heights of joy and faith that overcome all challenges.
