Alaska! & How to Spot the Enemy’s Strategies in Your Life | Special Announcement
This is Jonathan Cahn, and I have a special announcement and an important message to share with you. Stay with me, because right after this announcement, I’ll reveal how to recognize the enemy’s strategies in your life and how to overcome them through the power of God.
For the first time ever, I’m announcing something truly extraordinary a breathtaking Alaskan cruise filled with prophecy, biblical teaching, worship, and unforgettable adventure. Imagine sailing through the majestic Alaskan passage aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas while experiencing the mysteries of God, powerful worship, and life-changing messages.
This will be more than a vacation. It will be a time of renewal, refreshing, fellowship, and spiritual awakening. Families, couples, singles, and friends will all experience an incredible journey together in the presence of the Lord.
Onboard, you’ll enjoy gourmet dining, swimming, entertainment, indoor sports, fitness centers, live shows, movies, miniature golf, roller skating, zip lines, bumper cars, children’s activity areas, ice skating, spas, games, and so much more. Along the way, you may witness whales, glaciers, and the stunning beauty of Alaska itself.
The cruise will also include unforgettable offshore excursions to places such as Juneau, Sitka, Victoria, and Dawes Glacier. We’ll spend special times together in worship, prophetic teaching, revelation, and fellowship. There will even be opportunities to ask questions and share in powerful moments of ministry with me and my family.
This unforgettable summer getaway will take place in June 2027. There is still time to prepare, but space will fill quickly, so don’t wait too long to reserve your place.
Now, let’s turn to the message.
The enemy is a master of imitation. He mixes truth with deception, light with darkness, and confusion with revelation. Scripture warns us that Satan appears as an angel of light. God can speak through dreams, prophecy, and words of knowledge but the enemy can also counterfeit spiritual experiences. Even the flesh can deceive us.
That is why believers must stay grounded in the Word of God and test everything carefully. Be open to what God may do, but never allow any revelation, teaching, or experience to contradict Scripture. The Word of God remains the foundation.
The enemy’s strategy has always been to blur the lines. He adds a little darkness to the light, a little compromise to the truth. The same danger can affect our personal lives. We may profess faith in God, yet our actions can send a different message.
If you speak about love, then your life must reflect love. If you preach peace, then demonstrate peace. If you speak of generosity, then become a generous person. Too many people talk about spiritual things while living in contradiction to them. The enemy seeks to corrupt the witness of believers by mixing compromise into their lives.
In Hebrew, the word for truth is “emet.” It is connected to the word “amen.” The letters of “emet” represent completeness and order from the beginning of the alphabet to the middle and the end. Truth stands firm and complete.
But the Hebrew word for “lie” is made of letters twisted out of order. That is exactly what deception is: truth distorted. The enemy rarely attacks with obvious evil. Instead, he twists what is good. From the very beginning in the Garden of Eden, he questioned God’s Word: “Did God really say?”
Even when tempting the Messiah, Satan quoted Scripture. He knows the Bible well. He uses distorted teaching, false spirituality, pride, compromise, and deception to slowly pull people away from God.
This is how entire denominations drift into apostasy. It does not happen overnight. The enemy begins with small compromises questioning truth little by little until people eventually celebrate what God calls sin while believing they are still serving Him.
So remain pure. Do not bend the Word of God to fit culture or comfort. Instead, bend your life to align with the Word. Remove compromise. Reject spiritual confusion. Stay true, holy, and unshaken.
The enemy also pursues believers relentlessly. Just as Pharaoh pursued the Israelites after letting them go, Satan tries to pursue God’s people through fear, guilt, temptation, shame, past failures, addictions, and spiritual harassment.
He wants to discourage you, distract you, intimidate you, and stop you from fulfilling your calling.
One of the first keys to spiritual warfare is learning when not to engage. Sometimes the wisest response to temptation or distraction is simply to walk away from it. Avoid the trap. Refuse to give the enemy your attention.
The enemy often uses distractions to keep believers focused on problems instead of purpose. That is why Paul the Apostle and Silas kept moving forward despite opposition. They stayed focused on preaching the Gospel instead of becoming consumed by harassment.
Like Nehemiah rebuilding the wall, they refused to stop the work because of criticism or intimidation.
The same principle applies today. If you constantly look backward at fear, gossip, pain, or attacks, you will never move forward into God’s purpose. Your focus determines your direction.
Jesus Christ said that no one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom. You cannot walk forward while staring behind you.
Focus on where God is leading you, not on what is chasing you.
At the same time, believers must remember that spiritual warfare is not ultimately against people. When Paul confronted the demon-possessed woman in Acts 16, he spoke to the spirit, not to the woman herself. We must separate people from the spiritual bondage affecting them.
Pray for people. Love people. Stand against evil, but never lose compassion for those trapped in darkness.
No one is beyond the saving power of God. No addiction, occult involvement, deception, or sin is greater than the blood of Christ or the light of God. Time and again, people who seemed completely lost have encountered the transforming power of the Gospel.
The enemy seeks to harass, oppress, intimidate, and enslave believers through fear and bondage. But God has given His people authority through His Word.
The Word of God is your spiritual restraining order against the enemy.
Too many believers tolerate fear, compromise, anxiety, condemnation, and spiritual oppression when God has already given them authority in the name of Jesus.
