Christine Caine Daily Devotional – October 22, 2026
If your heart feels a little worn, or your faith seems stretched thin today, you are not alone. God sees the weight you carry—the unspoken worries, the quiet tears, the questions you don’t know how to put into words. On this October 22, let this be a holy pause in the middle of your schedule, a moment where you breathe, lean into Jesus, and remember that you are deeply loved, fully known, and never forgotten. God has not lost track of you. He is working in ways you cannot see, and He invites you to trust Him again—right here, right now.
Standing on God’s Unshakeable Promise
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV) This verse anchors us when everything else feels unstable. People change. Circumstances shift. News cycles swirl. Emotions rise and fall. But Jesus remains constant—steady, faithful, and true. The same Jesus who calmed storms, healed the broken, and restored the weary is the One standing with you today. When fear whispers that your story is over, this verse pushes back the darkness and declares that the Author of your life has not changed His mind about you. What He began in you, He is faithful to complete.
Hope in the Middle, Not Just at the End
We often want breakthrough without the process, victory without the battle, testimonies without tears. Yet God meets us in the middle—right where it’s messy, confusing, and unfinished. Maybe you’re in the middle of a difficult marriage season, a medical journey, a financial strain, or a child’s rebellion. The “middle” is where the enemy tries to convince you to quit. But the middle is also where faith is forged and trust is deepened. Today, choose to invite Jesus into your unfinished places. Talk to Him while you drive, wash dishes, sit at your desk, or stand in line. Whisper, “Lord, I don’t see the full picture, but I trust that You are good, and You are working.” That simple prayer becomes a powerful act of spiritual resistance against discouragement.
Draw Me Deeper, Lord
Father, I bring You my faith today—fragile, imperfect, and sometimes inconsistent. I confess that I don’t always understand Your timing or Your ways, but I choose to trust that You are good. Grow my faith beyond feelings and circumstances. Teach me to rely on Your Word more than my worry. Help me to seek Your presence before I seek answers. Draw my heart closer to Yours. Give me fresh hunger for Scripture, renewed desire to pray, and a deeper awareness of Your Holy Spirit in my everyday life. Strengthen my spiritual muscles so that when storms come, I stand firm, rooted and grounded in Christ. Let my life reflect Your love, grace, and truth, even in hard seasons. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Covering My Home in Your Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. You see every tension, every unspoken hurt, every fear, and every need. I ask You to flood our home with Your peace. Heal broken communication, soften hard hearts, and restore love where distance and disappointment have crept in. Protect marriages, rebuild trust, and unite families that feel scattered. Surround my children, grandchildren, spouse, siblings, and friends with Your presence. Let our homes be safe places where You are honored—places of laughter, grace, forgiveness, and compassion. Guard our conversations, purify our motives, and let Your love be the atmosphere we breathe. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Health, Strength, and Healing from Heaven
Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and I bring my body, mind, and emotions before You. For every diagnosis, every chronic pain, every sleepless night, and every anxious thought, I ask for Your healing touch. Strengthen my immune system, restore my energy, and align every part of my body with Your design. Calm my nervous system and quiet the noise of fear. Bring healing to trauma, disappointment, and grief. Help me steward my health with wisdom—resting when I need to rest, moving when I need to move, and nourishing my body with care. Let Your joy be my strength and Your presence be my peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
