The Now here’s what we’re gonna do this morning.
Let’s identify the signs. What are some signs that you might wanna look at to say, to deal with trying to start, It’s gonna be right here now.
Forget all that, you know, the plate moved across the table.
I mean, I can do that, you know, was the the
napkin went up in the air. I I do that too. I mean, don’t don’t do nothing I can do.
Number 1, The first sign or one of the signs you should look at, fatigue.
Fatigue.
Now I know that physically, we run off energy and stuff, and and, you know, everybody gets tired.
I’m not about that. I’m talking about soul, a tired soul. A tired soul.
I’m not talking about your 1st day back in the gym, and you did a circuit, uh, thing, and and you I’m I’m I’m I’m fatigued.
No. You you can rebuild that, eat right. I’m talking about a tire soul.
You know what a tired soul is saying?
A tired soul is saying no more. No more. My soul is tired.
A tired soul is saying I need to look forward to an an escape.
I’m looking for an escape. I’m I’m looking for an exit.
One of the number one
things the devil wants to do in the lives of Christian people is to get you to quit.
So fatigue in your soul.
I’m just tired. I don’t feel like praying today. I’m tired.
I don’t know what I’m going through. I’m just Oh, Jesus.
I’m just fatigue, soul, tired.
To the point where you say
no more. I can’t do this no more. I don’t try it.
I’m trying to live right, lord. I’m trying to do this. I’m trying to do that.
And all of it’s based on your self dependence and not dependent on god.
When you get to the point where you are feeling that type of fatigue and your soul, your enemy is trying to start some.
Now nobody’s gonna be, you know, omitted from this.
There have been times I got so tired in my soul, I thought I want to quit, and I want I I had a meeting at Madison Square Gardens one time.
And Aero records was doing something in the in the in the afternoon about, I think, about 5 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and he’s gonna start at 7.
I called over there and see what was happening. The place was packed.
And guess what I was doing?
I was looking out the window Thinking, I wanna quit. I am tired.
I don’t wanna do this anymore. I’m preaching four times on Sunday mornings for years.
I’m, I’m, I’m tired. I’m, I leave Sunday morning 4 times. Go Sunday night starting up with me.
I I’m I’m no more. I’m looking for exit. I’m looking for a a way out.
That is an initiation of an attack.
I need you to put your shoulders back and say, I ain’t quitting nothing.
I ain’t quitting nothing.
Devil, I take authority over you right now. Now watch this.
Since the most powerful weapon of the enemy comes in the form of suggestion, that means it comes in the form of a thought.
The Bible says you can cast down thoughts. How do you cast down false with words?
I’ve done this. I’ve done it in
a minute, but I want you
to count to yourself 1 to 10. That means don’t open your mouth. Count yourself 1 to 10. Go.
Now say your name out loud. What happened to your county? It stopped.
Why did it stop? Because the thoughts had deceased because your mouth was opening up, getting ready to say something else.
And I tell you when the devil comes in and starts talking to you, don’t you sit there and be You don’t fight thoughts with thoughts.
You fight thoughts with the word of god, and you’re telling this shall not happen. But where it
says this, this should should should come to pass.
I and how what Bible says I am, I ain’t scared of you devil.
I cast that thought down in the name of Jesus. This shall not come to pass. In my life.
I am not a quitter. I ain’t quid nothing.
I’m gonna give you a headache for the next 35 years.
And then after that, I see who I am, and I’m gonna probably give
you another one for the next 40 years. Don’t quit. Cast the thought down.
That’s how he operates.
He’s not gonna be shooting no guns at you.
No boring arrow’s gonna come no arrow’s gonna come by your way.
He’s gonna shoot everything he’s got against you right up here
in your thought life and your thought life.
And he’ll use anything he can use to try to inject those suggestions.
Anything music, TV, anything he can use of the people preaches whatever he can use to get that thought, open your head.
That’s what, but you gotta realize, the battle takes
place into mind.
That’s where it takes place. Look at Isaiah 40. This will encourage you.
Isaiah 40 verse 27 through 29 in NLT. Isaiah 40, 27 through 29, and NLT.
He says, oh, Jacob, how can you say the lord does not see your troubles?
Honey god sees your troubles, amen? Oh, Israel, how can you say god ignores your rights?
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The lord is the everlasting god.
He’s the creator of all the earth. He never grows weary or weak. Not ever.
No one can measure the depth of his understanding. Here’s what I want you to see.
I don’t care how many attacks that you’re going through? God’s got your back.
He’s got your back. Here’s the second sign you can look to.
And this is, you know, about this. Stress stress.
Stress is interesting because it’s pressure that comes from life.
We’re in this earth in a physical body being pressured.
And Satan comes to kill steal and destroy.
So what better way than to take advantage of that pressure?
Something about stress, it can start off in the emotions, but
it can end up in your physical body as sickness.
How is that?
Can start off a suggestion, get it into your emotion, and then all of a
sudden end up like, as cancer, end up as high blood pressure,
ends up it it it it invisible, and then it manifests itself.
And you think that’s just how it works? No. There’s a devil loose.
And he’s constantly looking for ways to get you to carry stress.
You won’t set up any boundaries.
You just leave yourself wide open to be stressed out. And you think it’s just a thing.
You have no idea that there’s a devil behind it.
Have you noticed as soon as you get one thing straight, see like somebody’s right behind it?
But here’s what the Bible says about this area.
Look at Psalms 5522. This is a battle, and we gotta fight this battle.
Psalm’s 5522 in the NLT. He says this give your burdens to the lord.
See, you see, what’s happening, god is saying, I know all of these things that the enemy’s gonna try to do to you.
I’ve already created a manual to defeat anything the devil will ever throw at you.
I just can’t get y’all to read it.
There’s nothing that’ll happen in this life that I have not already addressed.
Give your burdens to the lord, and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Somebody’s shouting. God takes care of me. Amen.
So give it to him. Don’t, don’t keep it and, and build stress off of it.
I don’t know what happened. I don’t know how to happen. I don’t know who did it.
Lord, I get this to you. I cast my care on you. You got it.
And now you begin to labor to stay in that rest.
Cause part of you wants to go back out and handle it yourself, but you’re like, I’m not doing this.
I’m not going to allow my I I I’ll tell you, I have I have shown off, made my mind up.
I I am not seeking other people’s drama. We’re not gonna do that.
Well, you’re the pastor. You’re supposed to, supposed to, what, supposed to take on your stress.
You better learn who god is for yourself because I am not gonna take on the stress of a church.
I wasn’t called to take on your stress. I was called to teach you the word of god.
That is not what god called the 54 ministry to do.
He called the 54 minister to mature you not to take on your stress.
And that’s why some of y’all need to stay at the comment section on the social media.
That stress you out.
You can’t find them. You can’t
see them. You can’t do none to it. All you gonna do is go get some stress.
You know, took you a little picture. Thank you.
Looking sharp and 2, 3 people come on, but you know, you look like it.
You look like a blanket in black, blank, make it. You’re like, oh, no. Stop. Stay out in the comments.
The Internet is undefeated.
I need I need to just go and close this.
Y’all don’t wanna hear this today, man.
Like, no. Come on, man. Look at Psalms 28and7.
Psalms 28 and 7 says the lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart. He helps me. And my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of Thanksgiving. That’s what we need to be doing.
That’s a way to attack stress.
Look at what he said here in, uh, Romans 1215.
Uh, look at that in the, uh, uh, the King James or NLT, it doesn’t matter.
This stress is a real thing.
He says, be happy with those who are happy.
And wheat with those who heat. That’s a powerful thing.
Got it. God is god is saying
to us here in this situation here, allow yourself to gather around people
who are happy. But don’t be so insensitive
to people who are going through.
So I’m not telling you to be just insensitive to those people.
I will I will tend to your situation. I will talk to you about your situation.
Say you got it? You say you got it? Good. Trust god.
But you come back to me threefold time, and I realize You you you wanna do what you wanna do?
And you know people do what they wanna do. Right?
Why should I invest any more than you when you’re not willing to invest in yourself?
I’m not doing it.
And some of y’all leaving the day, this is your last Sunday here, oil change.
No. Some people love taking on other people’s drama.
You guys you ain’t got nothing to do, so you just get on the phone to take care of everybody?
Stop it. That’s not what God called you to do.
If you find that there’s a tremendous amount of stress. Your doctor tells you about stress.
If you find there’s a tremendous amount of stress, just always you’re just you’re leaving you’re just living a life full of stress.
Satan’s trying to that’s a battle.
And from that stress, he wants to
see if he can manifest some stuff in your body, like, inflammation.
Wants to see if he can knock you off
by eventually, you’re having a heart attack. Just your high blood pressure, 200, over a 100. Both.
Man, and then you you you’re getting on your FaceTime.
My lord helped me. Like, You mean that sermon, uh, your pastor preacher?
Well, that didn’t have enough revelation in it for me.
Number 3. Here’s another sign. Temptation.
Timitation.
1st Corinthians chapter 10 verses 12 through 14 in the NLT.
Temptation is pressure applied to your flesh.
In other words, Satan always appeals to our desires. Pressure applied to your thinking.
That’s what your flesh is all about.
Your thinking Not pressure applied to your body necessarily, but pressure applied to your thinking.
What kind of pressure is constantly being applied to your thinking?
Why won’t the enemy leave that alone? Why is this thought continuing to come?
Why is this pressure continuing to come?
Because he sees an opportunity to take you down by, hopefully, you’re gonna yield eventually to the pressure that’s applied to your thinking.
They’ve had a meeting on you.
They’ve been discussing that they really desire this thing, and they think they can keep it away and fight it all.
Let’s put some pressure to it. Surely, we can get them to fall into that.
And when they fall, then we can kill them with with the guilt and the condemnation, and they ain’t gonna be no good to be used by god.
No more. This is how these spirits are talking about you.
1st Corinthians chapter 12, And verse 4 through 14, he says, if you think you are standing strong, he said, be careful not to fall.
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.
And god is faithful.
He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.
You need to know that. You need to know that while you’re standing, and there’s temptation coming, you need to know if it’s still coming.
God’s been bragging on you because he said there’s never gonna be a temptation to come at you that you can’t stand.
But if you should get to a point where it gets so bad, you might fall, he says I’ll provide a way for you to escape it.
He said he will show you a way out so that you can endure it.
That’s the truth you need to know. That’s the truth you need to put on.
Don’t let any wicked spirit convince you that this temptation is gonna defeat you.
You just say, okay. Depress your own today. But thanks be to god.
That god would not allow me to be tempted.
Above my ability to handle it, bringing on Devon, because I know you can only bring so much on.
Hallelujah. You can only go so far because of the god that I serve, you need to know that.
They are they are betting that you don’t know that. They’re hoping you don’t know that.
Your enemies are totally against truth.
They want you to wrap yourself up into a bunch of religion. So eventually, eventually, they
can get you to a point where they can whisper to your, to your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your, your mind.
Kill yourself. Kill yourself. Don’t nobody love you. Where they at.
Don’t nobody can done for you. Jump off the building. Life is overrated.
Ain’t no heaven to hell. You ain’t gotta worry about none.
You’re just gonna go to sleep and seek to cease to exist. Kay yourself.
Beautiful people just go and kill themselves. And we sit back to them, uh, what happened?
What was wrong? There’s a devil news. That’s what best demonic influence.
And and because you don’t believe in demonic influence, they’re having a field day.
And there’s some there’s some in here this morning. Who have heard that voice.
Kill yourself. That’s demonic.
And you have authority over the demonic realm.
But if you don’t know Then it’ll take you out.
But if you know, it’ll almost become laughable.
Key yourself. What, please? I’m killing myself.
I’m just having a bad damn
fin to go to bed and get up. It’ll be alright. Well, what’s the next eight, man?
I’m gonna go to bed again and get up. Better be alright. What’s the next eight, man?
I’m gonna go meet some popcorn and peanut M and Ls. They’re gonna be alright.
But what I’m not gonna do is knock myself off because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
And then you start preaching to that spirit and you command that thing, get away from me right now in the name of Jesus.
My god will take care of me.
Don’t you just sit up there and just Just sit up in.
Just let him. Just talk you. And you did.
And here’s the thing that convinced me.
You did. And you all your life, you know, read,
of of god god’s saying my good and faithful servant, well done, enter into the joy of the lord.
But one day, I saw it differently and heard it differently.
My good and faithless servant Job and complete.
What are you doing here? You quit on your assignment.
That ain’t how I wanna meet god. And, yeah, thank God for his grace.
Thank God for his mercy. I wanna finish my assignment.
I wanna accomplish what I was put here to accomplish.
Come hell or high water.
I wanna be able to celebrate that and enter the thing that all hell thought it could stop the body of Christ, but the body of Christ stood strong, they wouldn’t quit, they wouldn’t give up, they wouldn’t cave in, they stood, and haven’t done all they can do to stand, they continue to stand and stand and stand, and stand, and the devil cannot deal with people who won’t sit down.
If you just keep standing, you just keep standing. I’m not gonna quit. I’m not gonna give up.
I’m not gonna turn in fear. I’m not gonna let you win.
I might have to cry, but I’m not gonna quit.
I might have to curl up in a quarter 4 minute, but I’m not gonna quit.
I might a headache, but I’m not gonna quit. I’m gonna keep going back to God over and over again.
I will not quit. This too shall pass.
Be careful that you don’t submit yourself to self pity.
Oh, I know what that’s like.
Oh, boy there were times in my life where I thought I had a right
to pity me,
Since nobody else would pity me.
