Your Wilderness Isn’t a Detour – It’s the Path!
Wednesday, July 5, 2023 – The Nameless Gospels
Almost every book you read has the name of the author on it, who worked long and hard to create it. But not with the gospels. We put names on them according to whom we believe wrote them. But they didn’t put their name on them. The fact is, the gospels are nameless. The point is whom they’re written about, not who wrote them. The point is Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus. The gospels glorify Him, communicate Him and reveal Him. So you are called to glorify the Lord and reveal Him to the world. But to do that, you need to be like the writers of the gospels. You need to take yourself out of the picture. Take your glory out of the scene and become more selfless and anonymous. Get into the joy of losing yourself, doing things only for God to see them. Then He will be revealed, as in the gospels. Then His glory will shine through your life as in the gospels, and your life will become a gospel, good news, everywhere. Because the gospel is nameless, except for God’s name. You be likewise.
It means that everything we just went through. God is gonna use every part of it for your life.
It goes on. You shall remember all the way which the Lord, your God led you in the wilderness.
The Lord, your God led you.
Now, we think when we say, hey, I’m in a wilderness, we could, we, we often feel like, hey, I’m on a holding pattern.
You know, the Israelites wandered in the wilderness.
You know, and, and, and for a long time, well, it, it’s, it says here, it didn’t say they were just stopped from God.
It says God led you in the wilderness. What does that mean in the wilderness?
It doesn’t mean you’re out of God’s will. You can be, they were in the center of God’s will.
After a time, many preach prosperity that say if you’re in God’s will, the sign is you’re gonna have everything go right.
No loss, no health problems, no, anything.
If you do have those things, if you’re poor and you’re sick and you’re, you’re miserable, you are out.
It’s because you don’t have faith. That’s not what the Bible says. Yes, we can produce.
We can there can be repercussions for what we do. Yes. Or what we don’t do.
But they were in the wilderness because God ordained it.
I mean, they, they, the first generation messed up, but then he brought the second generation, he used the wilderness for his will.
The wilderness wasn’t a detour. It was the path we think we can get out of the wilderness.
You know, when you get out, if I get out of the wilderness, I’m let me get on with God’s will.
That’s not how it goes. You don’t have to wait for God to act.
If you can be in a, you may be in a situation, you can’t get what you want.
That doesn’t mean that you’re out of God’s will or God is not working.
You don’t have to wait to get out of this situation to be led by God.
God will lead you in every situation. He will lead you in every place. Too many people.
Too many believers miss all the blessings because they reject the wilderness. They’re in. They despise it.
There’s no, there’s no growth. You can grow as much in the wilderness as you can anywhere else.
In fact, often it accelerates your growth. If you will grow, your life is never on hold with God.
I mean, meaning, meaning He’ll always work with you. He’ll always your growth.
He always has a way for you to grow for you to be blessed. Hi, I’m Jonathan Khan.
