We are told not to be stiff-necked. Learn the secret that most believers miss and never apply – that the Lord applied all the time – It will change your life.
We need to, you need to train your mind, your mind will go where you lead it.

We talked about the mind and the thing is that you have control over your mind and your mind will become what you do with it.
If you’re always all over the place your mind has is running too.
It’s like you’re in a car, you jam on the brakes, you’re gonna keep going. Well.
If your mind is all over the place and you try to stop it to pray and be with God, it’s still gonna be going.
That’s inertia. But if you keep on pulling a back load, it says take every thought captive.
You will, you can train your mind to focus and meditate and be in the presence of the Lord and not be pulled all over.
Because when you’re all over the place, you know what the enemy does.
He says, look here, here, here, here, here’s another temptation. Here’s another distraction. Here’s another problem.
Here’s another thing to fear and you lose your peace over.
But if you’re focused on the Lord, it’s harder for him to do that.
And what is that?
Someone who is focused like Messiah, he fixed his eyes, he fixed his face upon his purpose.
That one has purpose. Believers are one of the problems affecting many believers is they, they live as if there’s no purpose.
I’m just waiting for the rapture. I’m waiting for heaven. You’re supposed to have purpose.
While you’re here, we know we’re not home yet, but while we’re here, we’ve got a purpose.
In fact, if you don’t know it, God has given us a purpose. He’s given us a great commission.
He’s called us to glorify him. He’s called us to grow.
He’s called us to touch other people’s lives and bring them to salvation and be a light to the world.
That’s a big purpose. Messiah was a person of purpose and you’re a little Messiah person, you’re a follower of Messiah.
So you have to be a person of purpose. How you cannot have purpose.
If you don’t set your heart and make up your mind to set, you’re so you’re on the, go on the calling that got out, you gotta be set fast.
Otherwise you’re like that clay. A the clay that never gets set has no purpose.
And it’s not to be, to be set or steadfast for your own thing. Oh, ok.
I’m just gonna be more stubborn and when someone wants to say no, I’m not giving in, I’m not, that’s not what it’s not about you.
It’s about God. The thing is that I’m gonna, God wants you to be strong, steadfast in his will steadfast about the things of God to be a person has purpose with God that you are set with those things that means you are.
What does it mean? It means you’re not swayed all the time back and forth.
If you’re swayed in your mind, in your emotions, you’re never gonna be stable.
But God wants you stable and strong. You know, the word in Hebrew.
Many of you know it in Hebrew for faith is the word try it.
It comes from the word for truth and solid like a rock.
And the more true faith we have, the more solid, the more grounded we are and the things of God, the more solid and steadfast we are.
God wants you. He doesn’t want your emotions going back and forth all the time up and down.
He doesn’t want your mind. He doesn’t want your faith to be challenged all the time back and forth.
He doesn’t want you back and forth. You know, that’s what God said many times one.
He said it to Israel. He said to Elijah.
How long are you gonna go back and forth, back and forth?
You can’t do anything with that is as a man who is unstable, double minded will be.
What of no good God wants you single minded.
There’s so much power in that, set your mind, set your face like flint and there’s a, there’s something that’s needed in that and I remember what also, Paul said, he said, don’t be like little Children tossed back and forth by the wind or the waves don’t be like that.
God wants you solid. God wants you strong.
God wants you steadfast and it doesn’t matter what you have lived as if you follow God’s way, you will become strong.
One of the ways to get that other stuff out is the word de decision.
Now, the word decision or decide, you know what it’s linked to. It’s linked to cutting incision, decision.
What does it mean? It means to cut away if you’re gonna be strong, you have to take, make a decision, be a person of decision who says I’m gonna rule this thing out.
I’m cutting this thing out. I don’t want to go back and forth the rest of my life.
I’m cutting this out job.
You know, you think about job as the one who suffered, but job was also a very spiritual man.
Job said I have made a covenant with my eyes that I will not look upon a woman in lust.
He made a covenant, he made a decision. He said, I don’t have a right to do that.
I don’t have a right. The problem is the enemy.
Use that you think you have a right to indulge in something and the enemy is gonna have you back and forth all the time.
But I do not have a right to do this. I must decide cut this away.
You know why they put blinders on horses.
There’s like, so they can’t go, look back and forth and you want them to go here and they’re going like this.
So the Bible says, don’t be like the horse that needs to be, you know, you be or the mule don’t be be you, you’ll be led by the Lord.
But if you’re by the Lord, you can’t be going back and forth all the time.
Look at what happened when David looked the wrong way. David, it’d be better if he had blinders on.
