Welcome to Today’s Inspiring Message: Vision and Purpose
I’m so glad you joined us for today’s message – you’ve picked the best one yet! Today, I’m talking about vision, and it’s a topic I’m truly passionate about. Whether you’re watching this on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or any other day, I believe that God is about to give you a vision that will transform your year. The message I just preached is going to stir your spirit, awaken your dreams, and help you recognize the purpose God has called you to fulfill.
By the end of this message, I’ll reveal the word of the year – a word I believe will confirm how God is going to use you. But before we dive into that, I want to invite you to join us for 21 days of prayer and fasting. You may have missed the first seven days, but now is the perfect time to get on board. We’re praying for clarity, discernment, and vision, and I’m confident this year will be the most spiritually fulfilling year of your life.
Join us in this powerful journey, and get ready to hear the transformative word of the year from Transformation Church, which I believe will also impact your life.
Vision Sunday: A Word for the Season
Today is Vision Sunday, and I believe God has given me a timely word for you. It’s not just prophetic and powerful – it’s exactly what we need right now. You know, sometimes the right thing at the wrong time can be a curse. For instance, if I were to give my daughter, Ava, the car keys we plan to give her when she turns 16 today, it would be disastrous. She’s not yet mature enough to handle that responsibility, and similarly, there are times when God holds back revelations from us because we’re not yet mature enough to handle that level of power.
But as we enter into our 10th year under the leadership of Pastor Natalie and myself, I realize that there were certain things I couldn’t speak about until I reached a certain level of maturity. This isn’t a bad thing – it’s just the way God works, and He does so because He loves us.
The Power of Vision
Now, I want to make something clear: Vision is my thing. If I could only speak on one or two topics, I would choose faith and vision. Everything you see from Transformation Church – from the impact we’ve had, to the ministry we’ve built – came from vision and faith, not skill or connections. There was a time when I had no money, no connections, and no resources. But what I did have was vision, and with that vision, I had crazy faith.
Vision and faith go hand in hand. I had the faith to believe in things that scared even other believers. I had the faith to declare things publicly that might have made me look foolish years later. But that’s what faith is about – believing even when you can’t see the outcome. Everything you see today, including the fact that this message is being streamed to millions worldwide, was born out of vision and faith.
A Leap of Faith with a Camera
When I became the lead pastor of Transformation Church, my first major decision was to purchase a camera. Many people didn’t understand why I spent $80,000 on equipment, especially when some even left the church over it. But God had a plan. He knew that in order for the world to know what He was doing here, we needed to broadcast it. That investment in a camera was the first step in making our vision a reality, and it continues to bless and expand the reach of our ministry.
