Sunday Night Prayers

Thank you, Jesus, for this blessed Sunday that I had. Lord, I ask that tonight as I go to bed that you would watch over me and give me sweet sleep. Give me peace of my mind and so that I will not worry about the things going on in my life. But that I would put my hope and trust in You. Thank you, Jesus, that everything is in Your hands and I know I am safe. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this Sunday and everything You did in it. I thank you, Lord, for your protection that no harm came to me or my loved ones. I ask Lord that this Sunday night would also be blessed and that You would give me peaceful sleep and rest to start the new day and week tomorrow. In the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

Sunday Night Blessings

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

God of life, as night falls, I want you to come and dwell in my heart with all the strength of your love. Blessed are you, for you always show your power and sustain all who take refuge in you. Blessed God, pour out your Spirit upon me so I may live without fears, attachments, and selfishness that unbalance my life.

Thank you, Lord, for listening to my words, for being attentive when I call you. Thank you because, although my prayer is humble and simple, you do not despise me, but come to my aid and listen to me. Let me not see my life with nostalgia for what I do not have, but convinced that with what I have, I can achieve happiness.

Give me your light, my God, to be able to set my priorities and discern between what really matters and what is superfluous. Here I am, exalting your name, longing to fall more in love with your word each day. Help me understand your teachings and live according to your commandments.

I bless you this night, having full certainty that you do not abandon the work of your hands, but continue each day assisting me so I do not get discouraged in the face of problems. Thank you for this new day in which you continue to show me that you love me, that you take care of me, that you fill me with your gifts and blessings.

Thank you for the moments of joy and also for the challenges that help me grow and strengthen my faith. I want to give you everything tonight; everything I am, I place in you because I know it is in the best hands—yours. Thank you for making me feel the happiest person by knowing I am loved by you. Thank you for making me capable of recognizing your presence at every moment.

To you, all the glory, Father of love, for only you are capable of performing numerous wonders for all those you love. Allow me to wake up renewed, with a heart willing to follow your paths and be a better person every day. May my steps always guide me towards you.

Thank you for helping me hear your voice through the simple things in life. Your words inspire my actions, sustain them, and guide them so I can always do your will. Help me remain firm in my faith, not deviate from your path, and be a living testimony of your love. Guide me, direct me, and instruct me in your word so I can move forward towards the true happiness that is you, my Lord.

Give me your peace so I do not let emotions lead me astray. Help me follow you and love you always. Be the one who makes me feel I can overcome all the problems I have. Give me confidence in my hands to act in the best way. Lord, I ask that tonight you let your saving light fall on my home so my being can obtain sanctifying rest.

May my dreams be filled with your peace and my spirit be renewed by your presence. I fully trust in you and your infinite goodness. Thank you for taking care of my rest. Allow me to continue praising and blessing your holy name tomorrow. Amen.
