Morning Prayer for Monday April 22, 2024

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Here I am, God of the heavens, with an open heart and a willing spirit to offer You my life, for You always bless me with a new dawn. Thank You, God, for deeming to manifest Your infinite goodness through the wonder of Your redeeming work.

Today, I seek Your precious face to guide me through this day I embark upon in Your name. Send Your Holy Spirit upon me. Send Your gifts to my heart, for I need Your clarity and strength. May Your Holy Spirit dwell within me so that I may be led along the paths of righteousness. Infuse me with Your wisdom so that I may decide rightly and draw closer to You.

Thank You for being a mysterious God and gifting me with a home and a beautiful family. Lord, I ask that You help me to have thoughts of love and speak just and kind words on this new day. Grant me the gift of perseverance, for no other proposal of life gives as much meaning to my existence. Today, I will be mindful of Your will, and I want those who come near me to experience Your comforting presence. I want to serve selflessly and wait with faith because I love You with all my heart and life; my dreams are in Your hands.

I fervently ask You to fill my life and that of my family with Your wonderful presence. Let Your light shine within us, and may our testimonies reflect the goodness You have bestowed upon us, for I know You are kind and mysterious, and everything I have in my life is thanks to You. God of creation, I ask that You fill me with Your Spirit this morning. I want to be a masterpiece in Your hands; I want You to mold my life according to Your will and guide me on the right path. I pray that You bless me with Your presence in every moment of this day that begins, for in feeling Your company, I know that nothing can steal my peace.

Purify my mind to understand all those who share a moment of life with me. Grant me greatness in my heart to welcome all into it, and prudence in my mouth so that the words that come from it may be of great blessing. I ask that You go before me, opening paths that lead to true happiness. You are my rock, my refuge, the God in whom I believe and hope, and I know You will cover me with Your faithfulness and protect me with Your shield. Therefore, I will fear nothing — no problem, no person, no circumstance, no adversity, no illness — for I trust that my life, being in Your hands, is secure, and nothing and no one can harm me or take away my ability to choose what to do with it.

I entrust this day I am about to live to You, so that You may guide me along the paths that bring me closer to You. I do not want anything to divert my gaze from the path as I continue to work on the project of holiness You have for me. In this new awakening, I raise my humble prayer so that the fruit of my efforts may fulfill Your will. Amen.

I will ask the Lord for the needs of the people with whom I share my life, so that His strength, love, and mercy may guide them every day of their lives. Lord, how many are my enemies? How many rise up against me? But You, Lord, are my shield and my glory; You keep my head held high. Psalm Three. May the Lord bless us on this day, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
