The Transforming Power of God’s Word
As we explore Scripture together, remember this: even one verse from the Bible can radically change your life. God’s Word is holy, pure, and powerful. Isaiah 55:11 tells us that God’s Word never returns void—it always accomplishes His purpose.
So when you read the Bible, don’t just skim through it. Let it nourish your soul like a good meal. Sometimes, like dining with friends for hours, we need to slow down and soak in the Scriptures. Make God’s Word a daily priority.
Jesus on Conviction and the Work of the Holy Spirit
In John 16:16-22, Jesus tells His disciples, “In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me again.” The disciples didn’t understand, but Jesus explained that although sorrow would come, joy would follow. Why? Because the Holy Spirit would come.
Jesus said in John 16:7-8, “It is to your advantage that I go away. For if I do not go, the Helper will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.” And when the Holy Spirit comes, Jesus says, “He will convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.”
