God as Collateral – Jonathan Cahn Sermon
God as Collateral – Jonathan Cahn Sermon
“Khesed…mercy…love. It’s God’s nature, His essence. Don’t forget that, through all this, don’t forget that. Judgement is His necessity, but His nature and essence, His heart, is love. He’s the one always calling out to the lost to be saved.”

What does it mean? I swear by myself.
Now, when you swear by something, you’re offering up that something as collateral, think about this.
So if God is swearing by himself, he’s offering himself up.
Now notice this comes right after Abraham showed himself that Abraham was willing to offer up his own flesh and blood Isaac.
So God, it’s a covenant. So what one does the others got to do? So?
He said that not that Abraham would offer up his son, but because God would offer up his son, his own life, I will offer up my own life.
And right after its right after He gives that oath, the oath of God, the ultimate oath Moses writes.
So it shall be seen on that mountain. So it shall be provided.
Word in in Hebrew can be seen or made visible or provided. So it shall be provided on that mountain.
Now, what is the link up?
That same word is used earlier when Isaac says, okay, father, I see, I see this, I see the knife, I see this, I see the torch, I see the fire, but where is the land?
And then God then Ahram says God will provide himself.
So at the end of the story, Moses writes in that mountain, it shall be provided what the lamb, which is also God because Abraham offered up his flesh and blood.
God is going to offer up his life on the cross where on that same mountain, on the same mountain where Isaac was lift, lifted up.

So Messiah would be lifted up God.
It’s by the oath of God by God, meaning God is offering up God on his own life.
