Giving God Your All | Christine Caine’s Life & Leadership Podcast | Priscilla Shirer

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

If I could go back in time and speak to my 20-year-old self from the perspective of being 50, I would tell her this: Priscilla, God’s will is simply doing the next thing with all your heart, soul, and strength. Then, one day, when you look back after 30 years, you’ll realize—God’s will was guiding you the entire time, even when you didn’t see it.

Hi, friends! I’m Christine Caine, and you’re listening to the Life and Leadership Podcast, where we have faith-filled conversations with leaders from around the world.

Finding Purpose in Every Season

God, I have so much to be grateful for. Even in the midst of suffering, You are present. I see a new generation rising—one that is choosing consecration over deconstruction. I am an ambassador, representing another kingdom. My prayer is that our time together each week will activate your God-given purpose and inspire you to follow Jesus wholeheartedly as you lead in your sphere of influence.

Now, I’m beyond excited to introduce a very special guest—my dear friend of nearly 20 years, Priscilla Shirer! Many of you already know her—she’s a New York Times bestselling author, actress, dynamic Bible teacher, devoted wife, and loving mother. If you don’t know her yet, trust me, you’re about to be blown away!

A Journey of Faith and Friendship

Priscilla and I were reminiscing before we started recording—can you believe it’s been almost two decades? I still remember meeting her for the first time in Jacksonville, Florida. She had a baby with her—Sophia, I think? Wow, time flies!

Through the years, we’ve navigated ministry, motherhood, and countless travels together—from Europe to London, South Africa to Australia, and all across America. We raised our kids while serving the Lord, embracing the chaos and the beauty of it all.

When I look back, I’m in awe of how God orchestrated it. The chances of a girl from Sydney, Australia and a woman from the U.S. crossing paths in such a profound way were nearly zero. And yet, despite coming from different church backgrounds and opposite sides of the world, God brought us together.

The Power of Unity in the Church

Over the past 20 years, God has allowed us to witness and be part of something extraordinary—bridging different denominations, cultures, and faith traditions. And now, we see a new generation stepping into this reality as their norm—embracing unity across different expressions of the Church.

Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. When we sat at that lunch table in Jacksonville all those years ago, asking, Would you ever come to Australia? we had no idea what God had in store. And now, seeing how our lives, ministries, and communities have intertwined globally, I can only say—what a privilege it is to serve a God who weaves all things together for His glory.

Let’s dive into today’s powerful conversation!
