Evening Prayer for Today

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Lord, as this day comes to an end, I call upon Your presence to grant me tranquility and calmness in this night crowned with the light of Your stars. My God, nothing can separate me from You, nothing can divert me from Your path, nothing will take away the certainty of Your companionship, and nothing will steal the peace of this prayer.

Father of love, I want to find the right words to thank You for Your works of love in my life. Praised be You for loving me unconditionally and looking at me with mercy. You search the depths of my heart, and I cannot escape Your gaze.

Here I am, Holy Father, for You to bless me, to renew me according to Your will, to heal my wounds. Here I am tonight, asking for Your forgiveness for anything I might have done wrong today, for anything that is not according to Your plan and will.

I come to plead with You to help me be a manifestation of Your love, to be someone who shows Your loving presence to everyone. Father, with a humble and grateful heart, I ask You at this moment to open Your heart and forgive me. I know that during the day, You were blessing me and filling me with strength to walk firmly in Your truth.

Thank You for the faith You put in my heart, because it helps me to discover that You live by my side and guide me forward. I implore You at this moment to give me Your wisdom and to always accompany me. Help me be strong to face all adversities that might try to make me feel down.

Kind Father, at this moment, I want to entrust You with my feelings and everything that comes to my mind in the serenity of the night. Thank You for filling me with peace, for making me understand that everything passes, that only You remain in our lives, and that everything else is relative.

Eternal God, my life without You has no meaning; nothing is worthwhile if You are not in my plans. My God, I ask You tonight to help me remove from myself what does not please You, what prevents me from moving forward. I want to be kinder and braver, eager to fight and succeed, regardless of the hard trials of life.

Now, pour out Your Holy Spirit and give me the strength and courage to not doubt Your power and goodness for even a second. Take me in Your hands because when I feel far from Your presence, I weaken and fall. I want You to give me Your love and protection to feel safe and confident, knowing I am loved unconditionally and to the fullest extent by You, my Eternal Father, healed and ready to keep going.

I thank You because once again I can enjoy Your presence to talk to You, to tell You about everything I experienced. I implore You, Lord, with the certainty that You are already molding every part of my heart and allowing me to rest in You. I give You my rest so that nothing disturbs me and so that tomorrow I may rise with all the strength I need to continue.

I offer You my deepest gratitude, blessed Lord, for allowing me to reach my home to obtain the rest I so desperately need. Amen.
