All those who held power wanted the tomb of the Messiah to remain sealed and full, while His followers had no power to change anything. So who made the tomb empty? Who moved the stone? The answer is clear—God did.

In the Bible, the Feast of First Fruits marked the end of winter and the beginning of new life. The first portion of the harvest was lifted up to God, symbolizing that if the first was accepted, the rest would follow. This prophetic picture was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He was crucified during Passover, rested in the tomb on the Sabbath, and rose again on the day of First Fruits Sunday morning. His resurrection declares that new life has begun. Because He lives, we can live. Because He overcame, we can overcome.

The Christian faith is not based on myth but on a real historical event the resurrection. From the beginning, there were attempts to deny it, claiming the disciples stole the body. But this argument does not stand. The disciples had no motive, no power, and were filled with fear and grief. They were not expecting a resurrection, yet they were completely transformed after encountering the risen Christ.

Meanwhile, the authorities had every reason and every ability to keep the tomb sealed, yet they could not. The simple truth remains: the tomb was empty. If it were not, the body would have been produced, and the message of Jesus would have ended immediately.

The resurrection is not just history it is living evidence seen in transformed lives today. If your life has been changed, it is proof that He is alive.

The tomb is empty. The stone has been rolled away. Jesus Christ is risen and because He lives, we are called to live in His power, victory, and new life.
