Steven Furtick Daily Devotional – October 26, 2026: God Is Already in Your Tomorrow

If you woke up today with questions swirling in your mind—about your future, your family, your health, or how everything is going to work out—God sees you. He’s not waiting for you at the finish line with folded arms, wondering if you’ll make it. He’s already gone ahead of you into this day and into every tomorrow you’re worried about. As you read this devotional, let it be more than just words on a screen. Let it be a reminder that your life is not random, your battles are not unseen, and your fears are not bigger than the God who loves you. Right here, right now, He is inviting you to trust Him in a deeper, more personal way.

Strength for the Unknown

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV) This verse was first spoken to Joshua as he was about to step into a new, uncertain season of leadership. But God’s heart has not changed. The same God who promised to go ahead of Joshua promises to go ahead of you—into the meeting you’re dreading, the diagnosis you’re waiting on, the bills you’re not sure how to pay. “The LORD himself” means you are not sending a prayer into the void; you are following a Shepherd who has already walked the road ahead. Because He goes before you and stays with you, your courage doesn’t have to come from your circumstances; it comes from His unchanging presence.

Trusting God in Today’s Pressure

When life feels heavy, it’s easy to believe that faith means pretending everything is fine. But God never asked you to fake it; He asked you to bring it—your fear, your confusion, your questions—and place them in His hands. Faith doesn’t deny reality; it invites God into it. Maybe today you’re juggling kids’ schedules, a demanding job, and silent anxieties that wake you up at night. Stop for a moment and breathe this in: you are not holding this day alone. Practically, that might mean whispering, “Jesus, help me,” before you open your email. It might mean pausing in your car to say, “Lord, I give You this meeting,” or choosing to speak hope over your home instead of frustration. Little moments of surrender throughout the day make room for big moves of God in your heart.

Anchored Faith in a Shifting World

Father, in a world that keeps changing, I choose to anchor my faith in You. Grow my trust so it is not based on how I feel, but on who You are. Where I have let worry speak louder than Your Word, quiet my heart and renew my mind. Teach me to lean into Your promises when I can’t see the outcome. Shape my desires so they align with Your will, and help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Today, I surrender my plans, my expectations, and my timelines to You. Strengthen my spirit so that I don’t give up when things take longer than I hoped. Let my relationship with You go deeper than Sunday services and inspirational moments. Build in me a daily, living, breathing faith that clings to You in every season.

Grace Over My Home

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. Cover our home with Your peace. Where there is tension, bring understanding. Where there is distance, draw hearts together again. Heal unspoken hurts and give us courage to forgive and to ask for forgiveness. Protect our children, our spouses, our parents, and every person You’ve placed in our lives. Surround our homes with Your presence so strongly that anxiety loses its grip and fear has to leave. Let our conversations be filled with kindness and truth. Give us wisdom in parenting, patience in marriage, and compassion in every relationship. May our homes become places where Your love is seen, heard, and felt every day.

Healing for Body and Soul

Jesus, You are the Healer, and I bring my health and the health of those I love before You. For every diagnosis, I ask for Your intervention. For every ache, I ask for relief. For chronic conditions, I ask for strength and fresh hope. Guard my mind from spiraling into worst-case scenarios. Restore my sleep, renew my energy, and help me care for my body with wisdom and discipline. For emotional wounds, bring
