Welcome Message from Pastor Amberly at Transformation Church

Hello, my name is Amberly, and I have the honor of serving as one of the executive pastors here at Transformation Church. We want to express our sincere gratitude to you for joining us, no matter where you’re watching from. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to like and subscribe to our channel. We believe that God has a special message for you today, so let’s dive into this amazing sermon.

I have a word today that I believe will impact the direction of our church, and I say that with full conviction. I don’t say this lightly, but I believe it wholeheartedly. I don’t just stand up here to make people feel good; I want us to live out the truth of God’s word. Many churches will tell you what you want to hear, but today I’m here to share with you exactly what God has told me to speak. Everything I preach has already been worked in my own life by the Holy Spirit.

It would be wrong for me to preach something that I haven’t experienced personally, so I’m not standing here pretending to have it all together. But I can confidently say that I am actively walking out what God has called me to do. Today, the Holy Spirit guided me to remain silent on a particular topic for over seven years. He said, “You don’t have the authority to speak on this yet.” That’s because He was waiting for me to live it out first.

I’m not here to claim to be the expert in everything. Knowing information is one thing, but living it is a whole different matter. Today, I want to start this message with a simple illustration.

Does anyone remember the toys where you had to fit the right shapes into the corresponding holes? When I was a child, I found this game exciting and competitive, always trying to figure out the quickest way to fit the shapes in. But now, as a parent, it’s not about speed—it’s about helping my children learn. Watching them try to fit the triangle into the star-shaped hole can be frustrating, but it’s a part of their development. Eventually, they get it, and it’s beautiful to watch.

Sometimes in life, we try to fit things into places where they just don’t belong. We think something is supposed to fit, but no matter how hard we try, it doesn’t work. We might even try turning things around, but it still doesn’t fit. It’s easy to feel frustrated when things don’t line up the way we expect.

If we bought this toy from Target (or the “bougie” version, Target), we might be tempted to return it, thinking it’s defective because it doesn’t fit. But in life, things may not fit the way we want them to right away, and that’s okay.

Let me bring someone up here to demonstrate—Zion, come on up! Zion has been my prayer partner, and I decided to upgrade his wardrobe today. Let’s see how he does with this jacket I brought from my closet. It’s an expensive jacket, crafted by skilled artisans. But when Zion tries to wear it, it doesn’t quite fit. He looks good in it, but it’s uncomfortable because it wasn’t made for him. He can’t walk comfortably in it, no matter how much he tries.

The same thing happens in our spiritual lives. Sometimes, we’re trying to fit into something that doesn’t align with God’s plan for us. We need to trust that God knows what fits us perfectly, and in His timing, we’ll find the right fit.
