The Strings Burn First | Tim Sheets
Two weeks ago, I shared prophetic words given to me by the Holy Spirit over the past few years, particularly since COVID. These words are unfolding even now, in this very moment. They are timely, due, and at full term. When we discern that it’s time, we must begin praying prayers of birth and binding, particularly against any enemy strategy to delay these promises. When the ecclesia discerns that the time has come for promises, dreams, visions, and prophecies to be realized, we must travail in prayer, just like the prophet Elijah.
After three and a half years of drought, God told Elijah it was time for rain. Elijah declared it to King Ahab, then climbed a mountain to pray birthing prayers. He prayed seven times, kneeling in the traditional way that Israeli women do during labor. His prayers were pressing, travailing prayers—it was time to push. The water had broken, and it was time for spiritual promises to be delivered. Now, prophetic words are at their moment; contractions are beginning, and it’s time to pray and push.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me, urging me to revisit prophetic words He has given me and to begin praying into them now. These strategies are ready to be implemented. However, remember that prophetic words and promises in Scripture are not automatic; they are conditional upon our response and the faith we release. We must agree and decree them, speaking our faith to bring them to pass in their appointed time.
A few weeks ago, the Holy Spirit said we must shift into “now” consciousness. We need to think, act, and speak in the present moment regarding God’s promises. We must manifest them now, as the Lord has promised, just as Abraham did. God promised Abraham a son, and after 25 years of stewarding that promise, Abraham shifted into the “now.” He began calling things that were not as though they were and prayed, “Isaac, it’s your time now. Come forth, now.” What was once delayed became reality.
Now, many of those prophetic promises are ready to manifest, and the Holy Spirit is calling us to engage with them. We are entering the most supernatural era the Holy Spirit has ever led—an era even greater than the miracles of the Exodus. This era will be marked by signs, wonders, miracles, and healings greater than anything we’ve seen before. The greatest harvest of souls will happen, and a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit is on the horizon.
The Holy Spirit has prophesied that this era will see an acceleration of change, fulfillment of promises, and the manifestation of prophetic words. Just this past month, we’ve witnessed rapid change—the attempted assassination of a president feels like it happened months ago. Change is accelerating, just as the Holy Spirit has promised. As we discern this acceleration, we are called to engage fully in this supernatural era.
