Effecting Glory (A Prophetic Word) | Tim Sheets
Today’s message is both a prophetic teaching and a prophetic declaration. We are entering a significant four-week window that the Holy Spirit has been preparing for in accelerated ways over the past six months and in many ways, even long before that. This divine season will birth strategies that will help lead the Church into the greatest era of the Holy Spirit’s activity.
And this is truly an era. It is important to understand that this is not just a temporary season lasting a few days or weeks. It is a long-term move of God that will extend for years and even decades. Just as the charismatic movement spanned nearly 70 years, this coming era will also unfold over an extended period of time an era marked by increasing glory, greater power, and the expanding presence of God throughout the earth.
Within this greater era, however, there are specific seasons already unfolding. Apostolic hubs, kingdom ekklesias, and spiritual leaders are currently laying foundations that will shape the next several decades. During these strategic moments, sudden breakthroughs will occur. Kingdom movements will accelerate. Revival and harvest will increase. Miracles will multiply. Yet all of this is part of a global, accelerating move of the Holy Spirit that will continue according to the Lord’s timing for many years to come.
We are now in a divine birthing season one in which Holy Spirit-inspired plans are emerging that will become an expanding part of this greater glory era. I believe these next four weeks are deeply connected to that spiritual birthing process.
Today, we will hear a prophetic word, and the ekklesias will begin boldly declaring the prophecies that must be released into this critical moment. Jeremiah 1:10 reminds us that prophetic words have the power to uproot and tear down, but also to plant and build. Some things must indeed be removed and destroyed, but other things must now be planted and established in God’s Kingdom.
The Church must boldly prophesy the Word of the Lord into this generation.
Next Sunday, America will be rededicated to the Lord in Washington, D.C., and I will be there praying and speaking prophetically into that moment. Dalton and I will arrive a few days early because the Lord has given me prophetic declarations to release over various locations throughout Washington. We will record these moments and share them during Wednesday night prayer.
The following Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, and believers across the world are praying for fresh outpourings of heaven’s power upon the ekklesias and the nations. Then, during the Glory River Conference on May 29–31, we will prophesy the coming acceleration of God’s greater glory throughout the earth. We will pray for the river of God to flow like a flood stage current waters deep enough to swim in. Rachel and I will also release our new book that weekend, Glory River: Waters to Swim In.
This is why today’s message must be deeply prophetic.
As I sought the Lord last Monday morning while preparing for an entirely different sermon I paused in His presence, and suddenly a prophetic download began flowing into my spirit. That revelation became today’s message.
Hear this carefully.
The Holy Spirit says to the Church:
“Behold the affecting glory of King Jesus. Behold the affecting glory of Father God. The effects of glory will now be seen as greater glory rises throughout the earth. These effects will be revealed in the boldness of the true Church the King’s ekklesia.
The effects of greater glory hovering over apostolic and ekklesia hubs will impact territories and nations with awakening and reformation. The King’s effective Church will be recognized through His affecting glory.
Aggressive ekklesias will move into regional assignments declaring God’s Word without compromise or retreat.”
The phrase “affecting glory” immediately captured my attention. I do not remember hearing the Holy Spirit phrase it that way before. Affecting glory. Effective glory.
The word “effective” comes from a Latin root meaning the power to produce a desired result to accomplish a purpose successfully and efficiently. The true ekklesia the reigning Church of Jesus Christ is now being anointed to become increasingly effective under the influence of God’s affecting glory.
Scripture repeatedly emphasizes this truth:
- In 1 Thessalonians 2:13, the Word of God “effectively works” in believers.
- Ephesians 3:7 says God’s grace operates effectively through His power.
- Philemon 1:6 declares that faith becomes effective through acknowledging every good thing in us through Christ.
- James 5:16 teaches that the effective, fervent prayer of righteous people accomplishes much.
The Greek word often translated “effective” carries the meaning of energized power that produces visible results. It refers to strength in operation divine energy actively producing outcomes. It describes being alive with supernatural power.
The Church is now being infused with heaven’s energy to accomplish God-ordained outcomes. Under the affecting glory of Christ, believers are being empowered to produce tangible results, fulfill prophetic promises, and carry out divine strategies with supernatural effectiveness.
Affecting glory is now being released upon the King’s ekklesia.
The idea that the true Church will become weak or ineffective in this prophetic hour is a lie. The exact opposite is happening. God is saturating His remnant with glory so they can visibly demonstrate His power on the earth.
Heaven’s active power is being poured out to make the Church spiritually efficient in fulfilling Kingdom assignments.
Every ekklesia hub has a unique territorial assignment given by the Holy Spirit. In this moment, fresh anointing and glory are rising to empower these hubs to fulfill their divine purpose with clarity and precision.
The effects of greater glory will begin transforming the earth through the Church. God’s presence upon His people will bring supernatural effectiveness to divine strategies and Kingdom expansion.
We are not entering the era of the weakest Church in history.
We are entering the era of the strongest Church in history.
Yes, it is a remnant compared to nominal Christianity, but the remnant has always been enough. It carries more than enough grace, more than enough glory, and more than enough power.
This is a kairos moment a divine “now” season. A no more delay moment. A glory effect moment prepared by the Godhead Himself.
The glorious ekklesia of King Jesus is not going to lose.
It is going to prevail.
Filled with glory and empowered by heaven’s presence, the Church will accomplish its assignment at levels never seen before. Therefore, believers must reject every voice of fear, unbelief, and defeat. We must silence the propaganda of darkness and resist philosophies that contradict the promises of God.
The spirit of Joshua and Caleb must rise again in the house of the Lord declaring that we are well able to possess the land, declaring that giants are bread for us, and declaring that God’s glorious presence strengthens us to finish the assignment.
How can believers think the Church is fading away when Jesus promised He would return for a glorious Church?
Can the Creator of heaven and earth not strengthen a remnant to overcome hell itself? Can the resurrected Christ not fulfill His own promises?
Yes, there are challenges. Yes, there are false prophets and spiritual battles. But there are also faithful believers, true prophetic voices, and a remnant that refuses to bow to Baal.
God has always preserved His people.
He still has thousands and millions who will remain faithful.
Right now, affecting glory is hovering over ekklesia hubs throughout the world. God’s presence is empowering His people with supernatural strength. Miracles will happen. Souls will be saved. Kingdom victories will increase. The Church will be energized with living glory to produce dynamic spiritual results.
The Holy Spirit then continued:
“Behold the affecting glory of King Jesus. Behold the affecting glory of Father God. Greater glory is rising in the earth, and its effects will be seen in the boldness of the true Church.
The world will now witness a bold King Jesus and His advancing Kingdom. Understand this clearly: the world’s definition of Jesus will not define or confine Him.
Yes, He is loving, merciful, and forgiving but He is not passive toward sin, rebellion, idolatry, or lawlessness. He will not surrender His throne to Baal or allow Lucifer to rule uncontested.
The world will now see that heaven’s King handles conflict with power and authority. It will witness the warrior King mighty in battle, triumphant in strength, and fully in control.
The earth will experience the bold decree of heaven declaring: ‘The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.’
Changes are now coming. New winds are beginning to blow. Great transformations are being born through fresh winds of glory from heaven.
Expect change. Expect sudden breakthroughs. Expect God-ordained events.
Outpourings are riding these winds. Kingdom movements are riding these winds. Answers to prayers and prophetic declarations are coming on the fresh breath of the Holy Spirit.
Angel armies are riding the winds.
The heirs of God will become wind riders, and the ekklesias will become wind farms generating power from heaven’s glory winds to expand the Kingdom of God.”
The Holy Spirit has repeatedly spoken over the last several years about the merging of heaven’s Kingdom activity with the advancing Kingdom of Christ on earth. Spiritual streams are merging. Movements are joining together. Outpourings since Acts chapter 2 are converging into one united purpose to prepare the earth for a greater weight of glory.
And it is happening now.
Then the Holy Spirit revealed another dimension of this greater glory era: the drawing and alluring glory of the King.
