Monday Night Prayers

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day and everything You did within it. I thank you for your protection that no harm came to me or my family. I ask Lord that this Monday night would also be blessed and that You would give me sweet sleep and rest to start the new day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus, I ask that You would bless this Monday evening. As I wind down from the day I ask that You would set my mind on things above. Help my heart to find peace and rest in You. And may everyone in my home sleep well tonight. Protect us, Lord and I ask that Your angels would be set around our house to watch over us. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. – Colossians 3:2

Beloved Father, I praise and bless you for allowing me to reach the end of another day. I want to thank you for your constant presence throughout the day and for making me a witness to such wonderful blessings. You made me capable of contemplating your wonders in the simplest things. Tonight, I want to ask you with faith to fill me with your peace so that I can rest.

I love you with all my being, with all my mind, and my heart because no one else offers the joy, the delight, and the wisdom that you bring to my soul. Thank you, beloved Father, for giving me eyes sensitive to your presence, allowing me to discover you in the small details of life. Thank you for making me a blessed person. Despite my failings towards you, you only have love and blessings for me.

Cover me with your mantle tonight so that nothing disturbs the rest that comforts me in you, and may the evil one have no power over me. I want to belong only to you and praise you with my earthly life, glorifying you later for eternity with my heavenly life. Father, I ask that I may retain the serenity that comes from being with you, that your peace may accompany me and fill me with life.

Thank you for being here, because I receive everything from your hands. Therefore, I now completely surrender, trusting in your goodness and justice. You fill me with love, strength, encouragement, and optimism so that I am able to trust in myself and my possibilities. Do not let anything discourage me or take away my desire to keep going in each of the battles I have to face.

Allow me to strengthen myself in your mercy and in the security you give me to be in total readiness to continue my battles. I know you protect me and shield me from all the negative experiences that others want me to endure. I trust that you will protect me from all the enemy’s attacks tonight, hoping never to fall into temptations again.

Bless the people who are by my side and allow my behavior to be a source of happiness for them. God of love, you know that I want to do things right, but you also know that I have failed you, that I have sinned, and strayed from your path. However, you are always there to forgive me and give me another chance. Blessed are you, my Lord. Praise and glory be to you tonight because I feel safe by your side, and with you, I can achieve anything.

Thank you for the serenity you give me tonight, for in the silence I experience, I find the peace that allows me to encounter you. I want to sleep with the assurance that you are healing me and helping me so that tomorrow I am ready to keep walking with you. Fill my mind with joy so that every thought is marked by enthusiasm. Help me not to fear any challenge, as there are many lessons that make me grow.

I go to sleep in total tranquility and peace because you, my Lord, watch over my dreams. Lord, lay your right hand on my body and heal the wounds I have received in today’s battles so that I can rest fully.
