Thankful Sunday Blessings
Dear God, thank You for this day and for carrying me through a tough week. It wasn’t easy, but I know You were with me every step of the way. Help me now to find rest in Your promises. Remind me that You’re working in my life, even when things feel chaotic. I choose to let go of my worries and trust that You have a plan for me. Fill my heart with Your peace and help me to focus on Your goodness. Thank You for being my safe place, my comfort, and my strength. I rest in You, knowing that You’re always faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety. -Job 11:18
Father God, as I start out my day this Sunday. I ask for the precious blood of Jesus to cover my family and me. That no scheme or plan of the enemy would come near us and that you O’ Lord would place a hedge of protection around about us. Give us the wisdom we need for this day and bless all those to whom we see and speak too. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen!
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. Blessed God, I begin this day with the confidence of knowing I am loved by You. I offer this new day to You, that all I do may be for You and through You. Nothing can separate me from Your love, for You are a great God, and You never turn Your face from me. Please grant me all I need to find happiness and share Your love with those around me.
Heavenly Father, I ask for the grace to keep my ears open to Your voice throughout the day. I don’t want to be sad or live without the light of a smile. Help me to understand that everything has a purpose in life. I ask You now to work within my heart, to release any insecurity, fear, or painful memories that life has left behind. Thank You for standing by me in my battles and for helping me realize I can overcome them. I am clay in Your hands, and You are the patient, loving Potter who molds me.
Your hands have made me strong, able to withstand adversity. Thank You for never withdrawing Your guiding hand from my life. You reach out in every situation I face and stand as a mighty Warrior in my defense. I place all my dreams, hopes, and concerns in Your hands and entrust them to Your friendship, for You are my strength and my secure support. Today, I ask that You be the Commander of my spirit so that I may face any challenge without fear.
Let Your will be fulfilled in me according to Your word. I desire to be Your instrument, following You in all I do, think, and feel. This morning, I give You my heart so that Jesus may dwell within it and that the signs of His love may be present in my life. Help me to grow each day, giving You honor and glory as a merciful and good God. Grant me the calm and serenity I need to face every situation with peace.
