Thankful Monday Blessings
A prayer for the new month:
Dear God, thank You so much for bringing me to the month of September. Great is Your faithfulness. It’s because of You that I’ve made it this far in 2024. As I step into this month, I ask that Your peace would guard my mind. Protect me and my family from anything that comes against us. When I’m lost and need direction, guide me and never let go. When I am weak, remind me that You are strong. I’ve come too far to give up now. I won’t lose; I will hold on to Your promises. I put my trust in You. Thank You for providing me with everything I need to face the month ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! -Psalm 27:14
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Blessed, praised, and glorified be You, my Lord, on this new morning that You have granted me through Your infinite generosity. I thank You for the gift of life, for in every breath, in every beat of my heart, I feel Your presence, filling me with blessings. You are a God of love, a God who is always with me, supporting me in every step I take. My life is in Your hands, Lord, and there is no better place for it to be.
With You by my side, I know I can face any sadness and difficulties that may arise. You are my refuge, my strength, and so I ask You to make me aware of all the blessings I have in my life. Help me to see beyond, to be more grateful for everything You do for me, for the generosity and love that surround me every day. I ask that Your Holy Spirit work in me, healing everything that needs to be healed, freeing me from anything that holds me back, and filling me with Your peace.
May Your Word be a lamp for my feet and a light on my path, always guiding my steps. Thank You for all the people You have placed in my life, Lord—those who love, value, and support me. Give me the ability to be generous, to return that love, and to always be ready to help others become better.
My Lord, may the fire of Your Holy Spirit transform my life, renew me, and lead me to be a better person every day. Grant me the strength to remain faithful in following You and to not stray from the path that leads to Your presence. I ask, Lord, that You grant me the gifts I need most, that Your Holy Spirit may give me wisdom, discernment, patience, and love. I want to share these gifts with others, to be a channel of Your love, a light that only You can provide. There is nothing to fear when I know that You are my protector and guide.
I ask that You lay Your healing hand upon me, Lord, removing any trace of pride, arrogance, or conceit. Thank You for this moment of prayer, for this opportunity to be in Your presence, to find in You the peace that the world cannot give. Do not let me act impulsively or hastily without considering the consequences of my actions. Grant me the patience to discern, the wisdom to choose the right path, and the strength to move forward, trusting that You are always with me.
May Your light, reflected in this beautiful sun shining today, illuminate my path so that every step I take is guided by Your holy hand. My heart overflows with joy because I am blessed to witness Your rays of light sanctifying my day.

I will give thanks to God for starting a new month under His guidance, offering my day for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls. I cry out to the Lord, I plead to the Lord, I pour out my concerns before Him, I lay out my anxieties before Him. Psalm 141
