Thankful Friday Blessings
Dear God, my heart is full of so much gratitude for all of Your many blessings. Thank You for being a good Father. Even though I’ve been through so much in my life, I’m so grateful that I can always rely on You. You’ve given me all that I need. You bless me beyond what I can see. You shower me with so much mercy and love. Thank You for having compassion on me. Thank You for calling me Your child. I can’t give up now. I’ve come too far from where I started. Thank You for being with me every step of the way. With all of my heart, I trust You. Thank You for everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. -Psalm 103:8
Father God, thank You for the power that is already available to me, and the authority I have as a believer in You. Because of what Jesus did for me on the Cross, I have the power to defeat the enemy at every turn. I love You so much, amen.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Blessed are you, Lord, on this new day. Praised be your holy name for the love you give and for being my strength in moments of weakness. Only you are worthy of praise and blessings, for you help me understand all the love you’ve poured out for me. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life and for each new day you bestow upon me. Thank you for all the blessings you continue to shower over me.
Today, I ask that you fill me with your love. May each of my thoughts, words, and actions be infused with your presence. I want to feel your love and blessings in every moment of this day because only in you do I find comfort and strength to keep moving forward. Blessed are you for your holiness and mercy, for calling me by name to serve, seek, and follow your ways. You shine your light in the darkness and never cease to look upon me with your tender and boundless love.
I ask that you always dwell in my heart, guarding me from thoughts and people that try to distance me from your love. I know I find a safe refuge in you, which is why I trust in your protection and guidance. Thank you, Lord, for always hearing my prayers and for being attentive to my needs, even when I’m unaware of them. You are my strength in weakness, my comfort in tribulation, and my guide when I’m lost. I never want to be far from you, Lord, so in this moment, I ask you to send your Holy Spirit. Fill my life with your presence and let me feel the power of your love and grace.
Grant me the wisdom to recognize what truly matters in life and the strength to remain steadfast in your ways. Teach me, O Lord, to love fully as you do. Teach me to share the love you allow me to experience with my brothers and sisters. Let my actions be a testimony of your presence in my life and a blessing to those around me. I ask that you light my path with the guidance of your Holy Spirit, helping me take firm steps throughout the day and stay faithful to you, resisting temptation.
Grant me the strength to overcome the enemy’s traps and keep me from ever straying from you. This morning, I cry out to you on behalf of all my brothers and sisters, especially those who don’t know your power or the wonders you can work in our lives. I trust that you hear my prayers and will guide each of my steps today. I also pray for those who live without you, those who feel empty and seek to heal their wounds with fleeting things in this world. Help them in their needs, Lord.
May we all open our hearts to your presence and find the peace and meaning we so deeply long for in you. Lord, I offer you this day, asking that you guide each of my steps and protect me always.
Amen.
I will spend some time in silence, meditating and asking God to transform me into an instrument of His peace because I desire to be His child.
“Before the mountains were born, before the earth and the world were brought forth, from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.” —Psalm 90
May the Lord bless us on this day, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Pray for my spouse. His heart is weak and he is in severe pain due to a narrowing of his spine. This is fixable via surgery. The doctor said I could put you on the schedule but the anesthesiologist would not sleep him because of the stress on his heart. The doctor is going to reach out to his colleagues to find out if any thing else to be done. We were told he is looking at being paralyzed or wheel chair bound. My husband said he prayed to ask God to intervene. God only knows the solution.
