Pastor Rick Warren Daily Devotional – October 21, 2026

Today, as you read these words, God sees exactly where you are, what you’re carrying, and how tired your heart may feel. Maybe you woke up with worries about your family, your health, your job, or the future of our country. Perhaps you’re trying to smile while something inside you feels fragile and uncertain. You are not alone. The same God who has carried you every single day of your life has no plans to let go now. As Pastor Rick Warren so often reminds us, you were made by God and for God, and until you understand that, life will never make sense. This devotional for October 21, 2026, is a gentle reminder: God is not finished with your story. He is closer than your next breath, and He is working even in what you don’t understand.
