Kathryn Kuhlman – Daily Devotional October 12, 2026
As this new day unfolds, imagine the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit whispering to your heart, “Nothing is impossible with God.” Kathryn Kuhlman lived with that deep conviction. She often said, “The Holy Spirit is more real than any person you can see.” Today, right where you are—in your kitchen, your office, your car, or sitting quietly with your Bible—God is closer than your next breath. This devotional is an invitation to slow down, welcome His presence, and believe again that He can move in every part of your life. You may feel weary, worried, or even unnoticed, but your Savior has not forgotten you. This is your moment to turn your eyes back to Jesus, trust Him afresh, and let Him rekindle hope within you.
When God Steps Into the Impossible
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37, KJV) These words were first spoken to Mary, a young woman facing an assignment that seemed humanly impossible. Yet the God who called her was able to sustain her. Kathryn Kuhlman often reminded believers that miracles are simply God doing what only God can do. Luke 1:37 is not just a Christmas verse—it is a daily promise. That bill you cannot pay, that child who has wandered away, that diagnosis that terrifies you, that broken dream you’ve buried—none of these are beyond His reach. This verse invites you to stop calculating your life by what you can see and start believing based on who God is. The God who spoke the universe into existence still speaks into your circumstances today.
Walking With the Holy Spirit in Ordinary Moments
Kathryn didn’t want people to focus on her; she wanted them to know the Person of the Holy Spirit. She would say, “He is my closest friend.” You may not be standing in a stadium or on a platform, but the same Holy Spirit is with you while you fold laundry, sit in traffic, or answer emails. Invite Him into the ordinary. Whisper, “Holy Spirit, make me sensitive to You today.” Ask Him to soften your words, calm your reactions, and open doors you cannot open on your own. When anxiety rises, pause and say, “Lord, I trust You. I give this to You.” Faith isn’t pretending you’re not hurting; it’s choosing to lean on God in the middle of the hurt. You grow spiritually one surrendered moment at a time—choosing forgiveness instead of bitterness, prayer instead of panic, worship instead of worry.
A Prayer for Deepening Faith and Spiritual Growth
Lord Jesus, today I choose to believe that You are bigger than everything I face. Increase my faith and help me to trust Your heart when I cannot trace Your hand. Holy Spirit, draw me closer to You—teach me to recognize Your voice above all the noise. Cleanse my heart from doubt, fear, and unbelief. I surrender my plans, my expectations, and my timelines. Grow in me a steady, unwavering faith that stands on Your Word. Help me love Your presence more than I love being in control. As I read Scripture, open my eyes to see Jesus more clearly. Make my life a living testimony that points others to Your goodness, power, and grace. In Your Name, I pray. Amen.
Covering My Home and Loved Ones
Father, I bring my family and loved ones before You. Surround our home with Your peace and Your presence. Where there has been tension, bring gentleness; where there has been misunderstanding, bring clarity and compassion. Heal old wounds and soften hardened hearts. Pour out Your love on marriages, parent-child relationships, and extended family connections. Protect our children and grandchildren—guard their minds, their hearts, and their steps. Help us to speak life over one another, to pray for each other, and to honor You in how we treat one another. Let our home become a place where Your Holy Spirit is welcome, where forgiveness is freely given, and where Jesus is lifted high.
Healing for Body, Mind, and Emotions
Lord, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. The healing power that flowed in Kathryn Kuhlman’s meetings is the same power available today. I bring my body, my mind, and my emotions to You. Where there is sickness, let Your healing virtue flow. Where there is chronic pain, bring relief and restoration. Where there is anxiety, depression, or emotional exhaustion, breathe Your peace and comfort. I pray for anyone connected to me who
