Today…….I am asking all my prayer warriors to say a prayer that may help others. So many people are hurting right now. Many are struggling with finances and need jobs. Some are facing foreclosure and don’t even know how they are going to make it from week to week..

Many are lonely. . Many are heartbroken. . Many are facing sickness and health is fading. . Some are dealing with difficult family members. Many have lost HOPE.. Tonight, let us put our prayers and faith together decree and declare breakthrough over our families. Financial miracles WILL take place. Jobs WILL be found. Our Bodies WILL be made whole & sickness WILL flee. Marriages and relationships WILL be restored. Family members WILL find Jesus. Heartbreaks WILL be healed. JOY WILL be restored and HOPE WILL be found. In Jesus Name. Amen!!!!!! Keep God First…….

You’ve heard it said that you must surrender to the Holy Spirit and this is true.
But has anyone ever taught you how to surrender to the Holy Spirit?
That’s what I’m gonna do on today’s lesson.
I’m gonna teach you how exactly to surrender to the person and the work of the Holy Spirit.
But first, Stephen Moctezuma is here with me.
We’re gonna lead you in some anointed worship and then we’re gonna get right into this message.
Here is Steven mate. We lay out at the feet.
Oh Jesus, the greatness, his mercy and she oh she so oh with, yeah, feel o to the cra his mercy as a few um
we the whole believe is a yeah, as believers, our goal should be less of us and more of God, it’s in our weakness that the Holy Spirit is able to give us strength.
The scripture says in first Corinthians chapter one verse 27.
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise and he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
God strengthens the weak God blesses. What is surrendered. God uses what is yielded.
And as you yield yourself to the Holy Spirit, you become a vessel in the hand of God.
Someone who is able to be used for the purposes, the work and the glory of the Father.
But I wanna give you some keys.
Now on how you surrender to the Holy Spirit again, you’ve heard it said that you should surrender to the Holy Spirit.
But how exactly can you go about doing this?
What are some things that you can do in your everyday life that you can apply immediately?
Well, I’m about to give that to you.
I want to give you some keys that you’re going to hear right now.
And as soon as you’re done listening to this message, you can go and apply these keys immediately in your life.
Number one, reverence his word. Isaiah chapter 66 verse two says my hands have made both heaven and earth.
They and everything in them are mine. I the Lord have spoken.
I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts who tremble at my word.
If you want to surrender to the Holy Spirit, then first and foremost, you must know the word.
You must cherish the word, you must reverence the word, you must obey the word.
You cannot obey an instruction that you have not heard.
You cannot yield to a command that you have not been given. If you’re not in the script, sure.
If you’re not in the word, if you do not value the word of God in the scripture, then you cannot be one who is surrendered to the Holy Spirit.
We must obey his voice and we must learn to have a spiritual reflex that is to respond as soon as he speaks, you see sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit is very important.
But sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit is not just about how clearly you hear Him, it’s about how quickly you respond to Him.
When he gives you a command, you must hide His word in your heart. You must know His word.
You must put value on his word.
And if you know his word, you understand his word, you believe his word and you obey his word, then you are one who is trembling at his commands.
When you reverence the word of God, you position yourself to cooperate with what God is trying to accomplish through you.
And as you obey his voice, as you listen to His leading you align yourself with the will of God.
And when you align yourself with the will of God, you align yourself with the authority and the power of heaven and the very same flows through you.
So if we’re talking about surrender to the Holy Spirit, you must understand that.
Surrender to the Holy Spirit is not just an outward expression.
Surrender to the Holy Spirit is not just when I close my eyes and I lift my hands.
Surrender to the Holy Spirit is not when I say a prayer.
It’s not when I go and I sing a song.
It’s not when necessarily I participate in any given ministry task.
Surrender to the Holy Spirit is when I’ve given myself to radical obedience.
When I, I’ve given myself to uncompromised reflex to his voice. I must not compromise.
I must focus, I must keep my life pure. I must reverence his word. That’s number one.
Number two, you must be mindful of his presence.
First Corinthians chapter six verse 19 says, don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you and was given to you by God.
You do not belong to yourself. Now, this one really is a game changer.
Once you’ve come to realize that the presence of the Holy Spirit abides with you 24 7 and that he actually has made his residence in your being.
Then you begin to walk in a whole different way.
You begin to walk daily knowing the Holy Spirit is in, in me. He’s with me. He’s around me.
He’s aware of what I’m doing right now. He’s aware of what I’m thinking right now.
He’s looking at me and he’s listening to me 24 7.
Now, some people may say, especially if they are unbelievers.
That doesn’t sound very good to me, but to the believer, nothing is more beautiful than the constant companionship of the person of the Holy Spirit.
So this is a game changer because once you become aware of his presence, you begin to fellowship with him in your car on your way to work or school, you fellowship with him as you lie down in your bed, falling asleep, you fellowship with him when you’re carrying out everyday tasks.
And that fellowship with him that 24 7 awareness of his presence cultivates in you a steady stepping in the spirit.
Which means that when I go to do something, when I go to say something, when I’m tempted to hang on to a thought that I know is ungodly, I’m aware the Holy Spirit is with me.
But in order to be mindful of his presence, we must learn to slow down and to quiet down.
I was ministering at a church in Northern California and I didn’t know it at the time, but I was about to meet the woman who was going to help our ministry in ways that we could not imagine this woman in case you don’t know, we call her Mama Sofia and everyone on the ministry team loves this woman.
Now, you’ve never seen Mama Sofia on a broadcast.
You’ve never heard about Mama Sofia in one of our books, she works behind the scenes as a servant of God and she loves the Kingdom and she loves our ministry and everyone on the team loves her.
Now, she’s been very key in many different ways. She’s connected us to do different ministry events.
She’s connected with partners. She’s connected us with people who helped to finish many of the projects that we’ve been trying to finish financially.
She’s connected us with pastors and leaders and Christians and ministries.
She’s put our ministry in places that we didn’t think it would go and God uses her, we call her our angel from heaven.
God uses her and she goes all throughout the world for us, helping us connect, helping us find resources.
She is one of our ministry secret weapons.
Now, you would have never known about Mama Sophie if I didn’t tell you on camera because she doesn’t come on the broadcast.
She likes to work like I said, behind the scenes.
Now, there were so many key things that happened in this ministry that I can trace back to the day that we met that woman of God, precious woman of God, her and her husband Robert.
And so I remember the day I met her in northern California, I was preaching and this woman comes up to me.
She was very unassuming, very, very modest, very polite, very kind.
And I remember she asked me, she said, do you have a business card?
Because I would like to connect with you?
Now, typically, whenever somebody asks me that someone from my ministry staff will step in and say, oh, you can contact me now.
I don’t keep that ministry buffer there because I think I’m better than everyone else.
I don’t do that because I’m trying to be a snob. I do that to protect my time.
I do that to protect the anointing and I do that to keep myself safe because you never know who’s trying to contact you.
But in that moment, I just sensed something in my spirit looking back.
Now, I know it was the Holy Spirit saying, give her your number, invite her to dinner.
So I said to her, I said, would you like to come, you and your husband to dinner with me and Steve and the pastor of this church?
We would love to have you. She was surprised and I gave her my cell phone number.
I’d never done anything like that. Even Steve Zuma who was there was like, that’s odd that you did that.
I said, I know that was odd, but I felt it in my spirit that that was something I was supposed to do little.
Did we know that was a contact for our ministry that would change everything.
She connected us with many different people.
And most recently, she helped us finish project E TV by connecting us with key donors.
Now, had I not been sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
I would have passed that opportunity and I probably would have still been raising the funds for project E TV right now.
But because I yielded to the voice of the Spirit and because I slowed down and I was quiet enough to hear him.
I was surrendered in that moment and I didn’t even realize I was surrendered.
I wasn’t even looking to be surrendered. It just came naturally because I was aware of his presence.
I was mindful of his presence. Number one, reverence his word. Number two, be mindful of his presence.
Number three, this is so important. Live in repentance.
First, John chapter one verse nine says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Now, temptation is not an event. It’s a process.
Temptation comes gradually and then you find yourself in a moment that you regret for the rest of your life.
But if you make a habit of repentance, when you make a mistake, then you can avoid crossing those major lines in your life.
When a sinful habit first begins to take hold of your life.
When a lustful thought first enters your mind, when certain ways you act and certain ways you think and certain ways you talk and certain relationships, you know, you shouldn’t be in begin to form themselves instead of ignoring it.
What you need to do is immediately repent.
Often the enemy will shame you away from the Lord and you’ll think this thing, I thought this thing I said this thing I did is too much for God and surely He has rejected me.
And if you’re not careful, that guilt and shame will push you from God rather than cause you to go to Him.
So what we need to do is be mindful and live in repentance whenever a little sin.
And really, there is no such thing.
But whenever sin in a smaller form begins to get a hold of your life, learn to repent right then and there learn to reject that sin and turn right to God.
If you could make a habit of living in repentance, then you will live a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit.
And finally, number four act in faith, Hebrews chapter 11 verse one says, now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
You need to learn to take a step of faith.
Sometimes being surrendered to the Holy Spirit will, will require of you sacrifice.
It will require that you do something that you’re uncomfortable with.
It will require that you do something that seems strange to you.
Whenever God is about to move on your behalf, he will ask you to do something and that something may be counterintuitive to you.
But to God, it makes perfect sense because He knows what he’s doing. Don’t hesitate, don’t question it.
Don’t fight, don’t debate because delay is disobedience.
Instead, when the Holy Spirit speaks when God lays a clear path before you step out in faith, lay holy to the promise of God and you will live in surrender.
So to recap, number one, reverence His word. Number two, be mindful of his presence. Number three, live in repentance.
And number four, act in faith. Well, that is it for the lesson. I wanna pray with you.
Now, I wanna ask the Holy Spirit to be your constant reminder, to be your friend, to be your companion.
And I want to pray that he would give you the strength and the whereabouts the, the wherewithal to pay attention to his voice.
Father in Jesus name, I pray for that when receiving this prayer now.
And I ask Lord that you would help them to recognize the Holy Spirit in those small moments.
I thank you father for your anointing. I thank you Holy Spirit that you’re touching each one.
Now, I thank you for your presence.
Lord, strengthen us, help us to find you in those little moments in the name of Jesus.
And I want you to say it because you believe it. Say eight men.

I see it in my spirit. Stadiums being filled, millions being reached through broadcast.
I want to read a quick portion of scripture to you.
Second Samuel chapter 24 verse 23 says I will give it all to you your majesty and may the Lord, your God accept your sacrifice.
But the king replied, no, I insist on buying it for, I will not present burnt offerings to the Lord, my God, that have cost me nothing.
So David paid him 50 pieces of silver for the threshing floor and the oxen, you know, I love King David’s heart.
He said, I’m not gonna give to the Lord that which cost me nothing.
When he gave to God, it was sacrifice. When he gave to God, it was something that meant something.
And I wanna challenge you to do the same.
Whether you’re wealthy, whether you’re poor, whether you’re middle class or whether you’re somewhere in between, doesn’t matter.
We all need to give to the gospel.
And when you give to the gospel, do it in a way where you’re saying, Lord I’m giving to you that which cost me something.
