A MORNING PRAYER

Good morning, Lord.

Before I begin this new day, I want to slow down for a moment and simply be in Your presence.

Thank You for giving me another morning, another breath, and another opportunity to begin again.

I don’t know everything today will bring.

There may be unexpected blessings, difficult conversations, good news, disappointments, moments of laughter, or situations that test my patience. But whatever comes my way, Lord, I don’t want to face it without You.

Help me leave tomorrow’s worries where they belong and focus on the day You have placed before me.

Give me the strength I need for today.

If I have an important decision to make, give me wisdom.

If I don’t know which direction to take, guide my steps.

If someone disappoints or hurts me, give me the grace to respond with love instead of anger.

If I feel overwhelmed, remind me to pause, breathe, pray, and trust You.

And when something doesn’t go according to my plans, help me remember that a different path does not mean You have forgotten me.

Sometimes what I want is not what I need.

Sometimes a closed door is Your protection.

Sometimes a delay is preparing me for something I cannot see yet.

Teach me to trust Your wisdom even when I don’t understand Your ways.

Lord, protect my family and everyone I love.

Watch over our home. Keep us safe wherever we go. Protect our minds from fear, our hearts from discouragement, and our lives from anything that could lead us away from You.

Provide for our needs and give us peace in the areas of our lives that still feel uncertain.

Father, help me be present today instead of constantly worrying about what might happen tomorrow.

I don’t need to solve every problem at once.

I don’t need to know every answer.

I don’t need to have my entire future figured out.

I only need to take the next step with You.

When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is greater than mine.

When I feel afraid, remind me that I am not alone.

When I feel discouraged, remind me that difficult moments do not define my future.

And when something good happens today, help me stop and thank You for it.

Lord, I surrender this day into Your hands.

I surrender my plans, my expectations, my responsibilities, my worries, and everything I cannot control.

Go before me.

Guide my decisions.
Guard my heart.
Renew my mind.
Protect my family.
Give me patience.
Strengthen my faith.
And help me recognize Your presence in the ordinary moments of this day.

Whatever happens, help me remember that You are already there.

I may not know what today holds, but I know Who holds my today.

So I will move forward with faith instead of fear, peace instead of anxiety, and trust instead of trying to control everything.

Thank You for this new morning, Lord.

Thank You for another chance to begin again.

Lead me, guide me, protect me, and stay close to me throughout this day.
