God Who Scattered Will Surely Gather: A Promise You Can Trust Today
This morning, I greet you in the precious name of Jesus. It’s early here in Southern California—5:00 a.m.—and before the day begins in full, I want to share a word that will strengthen your heart.
Our verse today is Jeremiah 31:10:
“Hear the word of the Lord, O nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands: ‘He who scattered Israel will gather them and watch over them like a shepherd watches his flock.’”
This promise isn’t just ancient history—it’s God’s living proof that He is faithful. The very existence of Israel today is evidence that God keeps His word. He scattered them, yet He gathered them again, exactly as He said He would. And if God kept His promise to Israel, He will keep His promise to you.
Think about it: if God could break His word to Israel, then none of us could have hope for salvation or eternal life. But He hasn’t, and He won’t. The map itself testifies—look at Israel, and you’re looking at the faithfulness of God in real time.
This means that when you feel weighed down by anxiety, fear, or uncertainty, you can pray with boldness. You can rest knowing that the same God who regathered His people will not abandon you. His word is your anchor.
Let’s pray together:
Father God, we stand on Your promises today. You have grafted us into the blessings of Israel, and through Your prophets, You’ve revealed Your faithfulness. We confess that You are trustworthy, and You never break Your word. Lord, for those carrying anxiety, stress, and heavy burdens—replace their fear with Your peace. Remind them that if You keep Your word to Israel, You will keep Your word to them.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we receive Your peace and strength. Amen.
No matter what this day brings, remember: God is faithful. He is trustworthy. He will keep His word—to Israel, and to you.
