Dr. Bill Winston Daily Devotional – October 26, 2026

If your heart feels stretched today—by responsibilities, worries, or questions about the future—know this: God has not forgotten you. He sees the pressure you’re under, the quiet tears nobody else notices, and the dreams you’re not sure will ever come to pass. On this October 26, let this devotional be a gentle reminder that your life is held securely in the hands of a faithful God. He is still writing your story, still opening doors, still turning what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of victory. Lean in for a few moments, and allow the Holy Spirit to strengthen your faith, calm your heart, and renew your hope.

Standing on God’s Unshakeable Promise

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV) This short verse carries a powerful message for every believer. Walking by faith means we choose to trust God’s Word above our emotions, our circumstances, and even our own understanding. It doesn’t deny reality; it simply refuses to give reality the final say. When bills are due, when the report is negative, when relationships feel strained, faith says, “My God is greater.” Dr. Bill Winston often teaches that faith is a spiritual force that brings heaven’s reality into the earth. Today, God is inviting you to look beyond what you see and anchor your heart in what He has spoken.

Growing Strong in the Middle of the Battle

Faith doesn’t mean life is always easy; it means you never face anything alone. The pressures you’re feeling are not proof that God has abandoned you—they are opportunities to grow stronger in Him. When your mind is racing, pause and speak God’s Word out loud. When fear whispers, answer it with Scripture. When discouragement shows up, thank God for what He has already done and what He is still doing. In practical terms, that may look like turning off the news and turning on worship music, choosing to forgive instead of replaying old hurts, or taking five minutes before bed to write down three ways you saw God’s goodness that day. Little choices like these train your heart to trust Him in every season.

Faith Renewed and Spirit Ignited

Father, in Jesus’ Name, I lift my faith before You today. I confess that I have not always trusted You as fully as I should, but today I choose to believe Your promises again. Strengthen my inner man by Your Spirit. Help me to see beyond what I feel and focus on what You’ve said. Uproot doubt, fear, and unbelief from my heart. Teach me to respond to every situation with faith-filled words, not worry-filled thoughts. May my relationship with You grow deeper, more personal, and more passionate. Let my prayer life be ignited, my time in the Word be rich, and my worship be sincere. I receive fresh grace to walk by faith and not by sight, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Grace and Peace Over Every Household

Lord, I bring my family and loved ones before You. Cover our homes with Your peace and Your presence. Heal broken relationships, soften hardened hearts, and restore what has been lost or damaged by conflict, disappointment, or neglect. Let forgiveness flow where there has been offense. Protect our children and grandchildren—guard their hearts, minds, and bodies. Give parents wisdom and patience, and fill every home represented here with love, joy, and unity. May our families serve You together, honor You in our decisions, and become living testimonies of Your goodness. Let our homes be sanctuaries of peace where anxiety, strife, and confusion must bow to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Healing for Body, Mind, and Soul

Heavenly Father, I ask for Your healing touch over every area of our health. For those battling sickness, pain, chronic conditions, or emotional exhaustion—stretch out Your hand to heal today. Let the power of the blood of Jesus flow through every cell, organ, and system, bringing restoration and strength. Calm anxious thoughts and lift the heavy weight of depression, grief, or fear. Replace sleepless nights with restful, restorative sleep. Teach us to honor our bodies with wise choices, healthy habits, and Spirit-led discipline. Let our minds be renewed by Your Word so that we think in line with Your truth and not the enemy’s lies. I declare health, strength, and wholeness in Jesus’ mighty Name.
