Don’t Miss The Moment

God frequently opens transformative portals for us. These opportunities can lead to new dimensions of faith and purpose. However, discernment is essential because not every open door is directly from The Lord. That’s where prayer and worship take over as your spiritual GPS. If you sense a change on the horizon, take it as a hint that you’re about to enter a new dimension. Your life-changing moment may be closer than you think. Don’t hold back — step boldly into the amazing future God has for you. This is your time!

God gave me the subject.
Don’t miss the moment. To be honest, this worship experience has already so aligned with what god has given me.
that I’m not sure that I can add much more.
But in the spirit of obedience, I’m gonna give what God gave me.
And I won’t go any further than what god gave me, because we might be out here in time to catch McDonald’s before they stop serving breakfast.
My text begins in verse 45, and it says, well, let me give you context.
I know most of you are bible scholars, but for those of us who were still finding our way through the word, Mary and Joseph have survived giving birth to Jesus in a treacherous time in the Roman Empire.
They’ve given birth to him and they’ve moved from city to city.
And at this time, they have found a way to navigate the reality of them raising the messiah but also keeping him concealed until his time has come.
When we open this text, they have traveled to Jerusalem for Passover.
This is the end of loop 2.
And they’ve traveled to Jerusalem at the end of Passover, and they’re heading back home when they look amongst the multitude that was traveling to Jerusalem at the time and realized that Jesus is not with them.
They think to themselves because at that time, they would go in caravans, literally multitudes walking towards Jerusalem, that perhaps he is somewhere in the crowd, and they look amongst the crowd and walk and navigate and realize, no, he must still be in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem. So when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem seeking him.
Now, so it was that after 3 days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.
And all who heard him were astonished at his understanding, and answers.
So when they saw him, they were amazed, and his mother said to him, son, why have you done this to us?
looked, your father and I have sought you anxiously.
And he said to them, why did you seek me?
Did you not know that I must be about my father’s business?
But they did not understand the statement which he spoke to them.
Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was subject to them.
But his mother kept all these things in her heart.
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with god and men.
Father god, we thank you for your divine wisdom, your providence, that nothing catches you by surprise, and you orchestrate us strategically that we are positioned for all things to work together, even the hard things.
even the scary things, even the things we feel ill equipped for.
Because we have you, we are not without And so father, I tap into that wisdom, that strategy, that providence, that anointing of alignment.
And god I ask you that I would not be in the way of what you have already decided to do in this room.
May I, may I decrease that you may increase, may hearts be open to receive, may the ground be open, that seeds may be tossed, and roots may take place.
Bless this word is only you can do in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen again.

You’re not preaching until you hear him say go ahead or something in that.
I, um, grew up in the 90s.
Before there were, like, Netflix binging, I would sit up and watch TV, my sister, and I, and I could tell what time it was based off of what was on TV.
We didn’t even have to have a clock. I knew at 3 o’clock this came on. I remember TGIF.
Oh, lord. I’m old enough to say, I remember, oh, god. This happened to me.
I remember, though, some of my favorite episodes of the TV shows that I watched religiously were the moments where they went back in time.
I don’t know if you remember those, but they would go back in time and they would play out an alternate scenario.
like had one thing that happened, how everything would have changed.
And I love these episodes because in these episodes, we see how monumental one decision can be in changing our entire lives.
I can remember countless episodes of these life altering moments, but even when I think about my own life and my own existence, I think about the moments where a seemingly random moment was actually a life changing opportunity in disguise.
My father tells a story about going to Azusa and preaching woman that were at loose and Paul Crouch being there.
Seemingly, another random normal moment that turned into something that catapulted him into Destiny.
Me, when I went to LA, I, I didn’t know that I was having a meeting with who would become my husband and my pastor.
As a matter of fact, I had promised myself I would never marry a pastor.
no shade to the pastors.
I’m one of you now, but for a minute there, I was concerned to and I met a man that changed my mind.
I thought we were just having a casual brunch meeting.
And then suddenly, there was a connection there that turned into what would be the change of a lifetime.
When David took his brother’s lunch, he probably thought that he was just taking them something to eat.
Little did he know that what was a seemingly random moment would be the awakening of him as a giant Slayer.
Just one moment that randomly came about that changed the entire trajectory of his life.
When Naomi’s son married a woman named Ruth, she probably had no idea that she was receiving the woman who would ultimately be with her in one of her darkest days and also be the bridge to how she experienced restoration and redemption.
You just don’t know who you’re connected to and what is possible out of what could be just a random moment.
They’re not just random.
We talk a lot about how god is always opening doors, and I love that about god.
But as I was studying for this message, I felt that there was something deeper than just god opening doors.
There are moments when god opens portals.
A door when we think about it, even when we think about god opening doors, it may change something in our life, But when god opens doors, it doesn’t always change our entire life.
But when god opens a portal, It is an entrance into another dimension.
Those of you who are fans of sci fi understand that there are moments in science fiction when you’re no longer in the same universe that you were once occupying because you entered a portal that gained you access to another dimension.
And it is not often that god opens portals.
These are moments that happen ever so often in our lives.
As a matter of fact, most of us in the room have lived long enough to recognize that that just wasn’t a phone call.
That wasn’t just a meeting that when I met that person, god opened a portal.
When I came to that church, got opened a portal. When I received that word, it was a portal.
It was meant to take me into another dimension.
There some people in this room who don’t even think the way they once thought, not because they just changed their mind on their own, but because they seemed one revelation and that one revelation was actually a portal that opened them up to a new way of being, a new way of thinking, a new possibility for what could happen for them and family, sometimes god opens doors, but most of the time, when our lives are radically changed, he opens up portals when Jesus was walking through and he walked by and saw a young man and said, Hey, I’ll make you fishers of men if you follow me.
they thought that they were just meeting a man.
They had no idea that they had been introduced to a portal.
And so when I began studying for this message, I was torn because I wanted to really dig into the reality that when god opened these portals for us, that we have to be sensitive enough to not miss the moment.
We’ve gotta be discerning enough to understand that this opportunity, this connection, this relationship is not just something I’m passing along the way.
Who would we be if we treated every introduction like it had the possibility of being a portal?
because I think it’s also worth mentioning that not every portal is connected to promotion.
The portal is just the method that allows you access to another dimension.
But where that dimension takes you doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s promotions.
Sometimes there are portals that allow you access to things that are on assignment to destroy you.
That’s why it wasn’t just a heartbreak.
It was a portal that gave you an awareness about darkness and destruction that you were never meant to have access to.
That’s why I’m careful about. I don’t y’all watching scary movies.
If you want to, that’s not for me. That’s not for me.
You talk about my faith. You you talk about my salvation.
You do what you need to do, but I don’t play with the devil because, listen, I don’t know what I’m getting access to.
I don’t know You get to chanting something.
Now I got to speak in tongues in the movie theater and ruin the movie for everybody because I don’t play with them portals.
I don’t know where this is taking me and I can’t trust everything I am exposed to because I recognize that some of these things are portals, and you came be entertained, and now you’re leaving afflicted because you didn’t allow yourself access to something that was meant to take you into another dimension There were some things you were exposed to that you should have never been exposed to, but because you were connected to somebody, who you didn’t realize was a portal in disguise Now, you’re dealing with their devils and their demons because you’re in a dimension that you were never supposed to be in.
I don’t know about you, but I got care over my circle when I started realizing I wasn’t just fighting my depression.
I was fighting their depression, and now I’m in this mess with you because I allowed you to be portal.
What do they get when they get you?
Where are you taking them?
Are you in a position where you can even allow someone access to the dimension of you, and it make them better, or are you making them more ill?
Do you recognize that connection is a portal And can you stand by the dimension you’re currently existing in?
Cause it’s not just on them. It’s on you too.
And that’s why you do yourself a service when you make sure that you are aware enough about what’s happening in your spirit so that you’re not preaching, teaching, pouring, parenting, loving, sexing with people, not realizing that you are really giving them access to a version of you that you don’t even like, but misery loves company.
And now we’re sitting in this dimension of torment together because I didn’t realize This was a portal.
Something to be said, about us recognizing the power of connection, the power of opportunity to not just meet us, but to move us.
When is the last time we took inventory of what is happening in our life and who was in our lives and acts ourselves, where are you taking me?
Because Your purpose only works in a certain dimension.
Oh, Jesus. Help me.
Some of us fall for this belief that if I am anointed, I am anointed anywhere.
Oh, god. This one, even in my notes.
But your anointing is assigned to a dimension.
I’ll give you an example.
There are some people, not people you know, not people in this room.
Who justify what they do by saying, well, Jesus sat with sinners and and drink and drunks and everybody else.
Yeah. But you have a drinking problem, and he was anointed to be in that dimension and you are not You are not witnessing at the strip club.
Baby, you are not anointed for that dimension and don’t fool with the anointing and diluted by making the anointing fit your lifestyle instead of changing your lifestyle to fit the anointing.
You don’t work everywhere.
Jesus told the disciples that if you go into a house and release your anointing, if they don’t receive it, go into the other house.
because you’re anointing. You can’t force your anointing into spaces where you were not called.
If there was not capacity for your anointing, then move.
And to a dimension, where you’re anointing can align with the mission that god has assigned on your life.
don’t cast your pearls amongst swines.
You got the right pearls, but the wrong audience.
when we recognize that we have found ourselves functioning in dimensions that take us backwards, that shrink our anointings that dilute our power.
we are not without help.
Because the truth is, though we can try and protect it as much as we desire, we’re all gonna find ourselves, whether we realize it in the moment or not, sucked into dimensions where we lose focus on our anointing.
subt into dimensions where the only thing we see is the depression.
something to dimensions where the only thing we see are our failures, our shame, our insecurity, our abandonment issues, our inadequacies, And most of the time, if we trace our steps back, we see that that wasn’t just one rejection.
It was a rejection that unearthed all the other directions.
And now I spiraled into a dimension that I cannot get out of.
Yeah. I know. I know. Yeah. You can’t.
Always get yourself out of these dimensions. I love affirmations.
We have our children say, affirmations every morning, but there are some affirmations that don’t help us get out of the dimensions.
There are some moments where that dimension is so heavy and so dark that we cannot get out of it.
And so as believers, if you are a believer and if you are not a believer, I highly encourage you to tap into this truth that is helping us.
It is not that we don’t spiral into dark dimensions.
It’s that we understand the power of prayer is not just the place where we go and ask god to bless me, bless me, bless me, prayer is transportation, prayer is a portal out of this dimension and into the dimension I’m supposed to be in Sometimes I start praying because I recognize I’m not in position.
And sometimes I’m already out of position when I start praying, but god is so good that he tells me if you humble yourself and pray and seek my face and turn from your wicked ways, I’ll send an Uber for you out of the place of destruction.
I’ll send it over. Oh, Jesus.
I feel there’s some oil on that that your prayer is sending up a GPS notification that says, god, here I am.
And I got sucked into some mess that I cannot get out of, but help me, lord.
Lord, I understand that I don’t have to live this way.
I didn’t have to be stuck in this dimension, but I humble myself, and I begin to pray that verses in 2nd chronicles, and it’s very powerful.
when you understand the dynamic of Israel and their relationship with God, you recognize that they kept finding themselves out of position over and over again.
They was start dabbling with other religions, having sex with people. They shouldn’t be having sex with worshiping other idols.
They didn’t even realize that they were worshiping other idols.
And I just want you to know just because you don’t have stones and just because you don’t have sage, it doesn’t mean you’re not worshiping other idols.
If you are worshiping that worried, if you are worshiping that insecurity, if you are worshiping the idea of marriage, if you are worshiping the idea of being single, baby, you gotta idle to.
I know you think you better than the other people because you don’t have their idols, but everybody in here came in here dragging an idol.
If you’re worshiping success, if you’re worshiping achievement, if you think you’re only as good as your bank account, baby, you gotta idol but second Chronicles 7 tells us that if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face.
Why am I seeking in god’s face? Because I’m in a dimension where I don’t see god.
Because if you start searching for me, I don’t care how dark the dimension is.
I don’t care how long you’ve been in the dimension.
I don’t care how many friends you got in the dimension. If you start seeking my face.
God said, I’ll show up. If you turn from your wicked ways, you’ll hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins.
I hear god saying come out of the sunken place.
I hear god saying that somebody got turned upside down.
I don’t know who what the portal was that sent you into a dimension of darkness.
I don’t know what the porter was that sent you into a dimension of ego.
I don’t know what the porter was that sent you into a dimension of bitterness, but I hear god saying there is no dimension dark enough to keep me from finding you.
There is
no dimension wide enough to keep me from coming to you. But that’s his won’t come unless you call.
I won’t betray our covenant, but if you call me, I’ll answer. If you seek for me, I’ll show up.
I feel like preaching in this place because
I understand what happens when we begin to call on the name of god.
Gus says when you can’t get out of the atmosphere, you can shift the atmosphere.
When you begin to shift the atmosphere. God, I can’t break the addiction on my own.
Have you ever seen somebody drop by calling on
the name of god? You can discredit them if you want to, but they recognize
a minute to mention I can’t get out of. God, if I
could put it down, I would. But since
I can’t put it down, I’m asking you to
meet me right where I am in this dimension, right where I am.
in this brokenness right where I am
in this pain. Gotta need something stronger.
than the dimension I got sucked in.
Prayer is my transportation.
Thinking about Paul and Silas.
locked up in a prison sale.
In one dimension, I’m restricted But when I start worshiping when I start worshiping, I invite heaven’s dimension into my dimension.
That’s why that worship was so good this morning because I wasn’t in my dimension on my own anymore.
I invited heaven’s dimension into my dimension. And when Paul and Cyla said, I
may not be able to get
out of this sale. I may not be able to get out of these cups.
but I can let worship meet me in the place of restriction.
Then all of a sudden, the ground started shaking.
You couldn’t see it earlier, but every time you lifted your hands, saw the ground started shaking.
You didn’t see it earlier, but every time you lifted your hands, I saw demons backing up off of you.
You didn’t it yet because you’ve been carrying that weight for so long.
But when you started worshiping, I saw chains being broken off of you.
You didn’t realize it, but you shook up
the ground. When you walk out of here, you may have to walk a little differently because I hear god saying I shook up the that you’re walking on.
I wanted your steps
because when I shook up
the ground, it’s not the same way
that you used to walk anymore.
That’s why the enemy wants your worship because your worship changes the dimensions.
That’s why the enemy wants your tongue.
because your mouth changes the demission, the power of life and death is in the tongue.
So you decided to not speak to but I hear god saying, did
you speak life? You shut up on one end, but did you open your mouth on the other end?
because if you open mouth on the other end.
What you learn is that same power that calls you the street. It’s the same power.
that will help you release the gift
of god that’s down on the inside of you. Let me tell you.
Let me tell you how cold god is.
Some people in this room.
and they drag themselves in this room.
But they can’t release their worship, because they ran a dimension of so much pain.
that they can’t even release it for themselves.
It took everything they had to come into this room.
because they’ve been carrying trauma after trauma after trauma. But if one can chase 1000,
with worship releases in this room.
It doesn’t just change your dimension.
It’s like the entire dimension.
That means if you can’t lift your hands, I’ll let them for you.
that you can’t open your mouth.
the kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and the violence taken by force.
You better watch who you’re sitting next to because I hear god saying that the mission is about to shift.
The dimension that’s about to go higher. Yes. You are mine. Yes.
You are mine. Why does her status let’s shift the dimension in Africa 4 minutes.
Let’s shift the dimension in London 4 minutes. I hear we can shift it from right here.
We serve notice on hail.
I got a dimension to shift.
I got a generational curse to break.
I don’t have that much time, but I just came here to to know that when you shift
the dimension, it’s not just gonna change
it for you. It’s gonna change it for everything connected to you.
Don’t be surprised if your family starts
acting different. Believe it on this shift. Don’t be surprised if the coworkers aren’t acting different.
Blame it
on the dimension shift. The be surprised
if the tears start flowing. Don’t be surprised if the
joint starts coming. Blame it
on the it’s in shift. things gotta go.
Anxiety has gotta go. The Russians gotta live there alone. I gotta to match it.
Shift them god. Shift with their worship. Sempt them with their praise.
We make the throne in this place. Have your way. Great. God.
That you all We rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We break covenant with despair.
We break covenant. the bitterness. We break covenant with our peer. I’m walking in a new dimension.
This dimension’s about faith. This dimension is about miracles.
La, Mama, you jumping with that baby?
You just jumped that baby into another dimension.
Little mama. I don’t know what you asking god for, but I hear god saying you got to take that, baby, into another detention.
You got to break a generational curse before he said his front words.
She jumping, and you’re jumping for your baby.
And you’re jumping for marriage and you jumping and jumping and you go leap and find yourself in another dimension, you may a watch off when you clap your head, because you’re gonna look, and you gonna have wings.
Oh, yeah.
I see you dropping.
I see you dropping up there. I see you dropping where we going. Where we going? Is it healing?
Where we going? Is it wholeness? Where we going? Is it been recorded. Where are we going? Is it breakthrough?
Where are we going? Are we breaking a generational curve?
I’m going. I’m going. I’m going.
I’m going. I’m going. I’m going. I’m going. I’m going. I’m going. I’m going.
I’m going. And every time I worship, I get transported to another dimension. I’m going. I’m going.
I’m going on Earth as it is in heaven. Your kingdom come. You will be done
in this dimension, I’m not gonna wait until I die to see another dimension. I wanna see a dimension.
I wanna see the
good of the lord in the land of the living.
I don’t don’t miss the moment.
Don’t miss the moment where you can transition.
from discouragement, fear, insecurity, seeing less addiction.
It’s not just a problem. It’s another dimension you’re in.
That’s okay. That says I can invade that dimension, but you gotta be willing to wanna come out of that dimension, because he’s too holy.
I can move you, buddy.
But you gotta be willing to move because you’re asking me to change my holiness to come into that dimension, and you are worth it.
I’ll leave the ninety 9 to come after the 1, but it’s not so that you can stay the same.
This dimension transition requires change, it requires obedience.
And there is a dimension.
where you are not ashamed or afraid.
There is a dimension where you truly believe that no weapon formed against you will prosper, there is a dimension.
Whether righteous or not forsaken, there is a dimension.
Where miracles happen, there is a dimension.
So maybe you’re right. There is something wrong with your environment.
Maybe you’re right. You needed a change.
you needed release from the dimension that makes you shrink because I heard god tell me that there are people who were coming, people who were watching, who were standing at a portal and didn’t know it.
And because you were so stuck in your rhythm and your routine, because you’ve had to be in order to survive, that it is possible that you will miss the moment where the opportunity, the relationship, is actually the portal for the next dimension.
So ask god, how do we know?
How do we know which how do we know to be sensitive to it?
How do we know to lean into this portal that allows this access to the next dimension.
How do we know when we see it? And god took me to this text.
And I wrestled with it all day, and I was wrestling with it even this morning.
When god got ready to bring redemption to the earth, He used the portal of a woman named Mary.
And through Mary Jesus, left one dimension and entered into another dimension.
And in this dimension, he is 100% not end 100% man.
He is Man enough to weep when Lazarus dies.
But god enough to say Lazarus come forth. and he came out of that grave.
Yes. This Jesus who was man
enough to be asleep on the
boat, But god enough to speak
to the wind and the waves and say, peace, peace, peace, peace,
peace, peace, peace, peace,
peace, peace, peace, peace, peace,
peace, peace, peace, peace, peace, peace, peace, man, and 100% god.
And we find him at this moment in the text.
And it doesn’t look like it, but he’s standing at a crossroad between portals.
He’s got the reality of his divinity on displaying the temple.
The temple and the priest are asking him questions, and he’s answering And they are marveling at his wisdom, because that is a different tone than they’ve heard before he’s 100%.
God, they’ve never heard it quite like this before. But he is a boy Jesus.
He’s a boy. with divinity.
And he’s trying to get to this stage where he is fully developed in his humanity so that he can fulfill the assignment of his divinity.
And when he’s at this moment, If he were, like some of us, he would have stuck to what he was good at.
to what he was being applauded for and stayed in the temple even though he was underdeveloped as
a boy. Because our tendency
hours, not his our tendency, is to lean into the areas where we feel strength and confidence.
and shy away from the places that will require us to be accountable for where we are underdeveloped.
That’s why relationships are hard. because they see where you’re underdeveloped.
And they wanna hold you accountable for that.
And you don’t like to be held accountable for where you’re underdeveloped because you think your worth is connected to your under development.
And yet, Jesus models for us, that when you have the opportunity, to avoid accountability when you have the opportunity to shine instead of being developed, that those are portals And if you are really going to fulfill the assignment connected to your life and you find yourself at a crossroad, where you must choose between the portals that allow you to exist in a dimension where you’re not questioned or trained or grounded or rooted in anything other than what you’re good at.
Guys, it’s the true sign of someone he can use.
is the person who chooses the place where you must be developed.
God, I wish I could say that better.
Mary and Joseph could not help Jesus be god.
They weren’t anointed for that.
But just because they were not anointed for that, it didn’t mean that they were not anointed to be his parents.
That means that you can receive training and tools and guidance from someone who is not necessarily anointed for your anointing, they are anointed for the place where you are underdeveloped.
Thank you. because that’s that’s a real good word.
because oftentimes we disqualify people who cannot speak to our anointing and discredit the places where they can speak to us and we go on to have some measure of success, but we are leaky vessels because we did not allow ourselves to be developed by the people who were anointed to develop us.
and may not be anointed to show Jesus how to get on a cross.
But in Luke 252, it says that Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with god and men.
This is not god Jesus. This is not god Jesus that increased. This was boy Jesus.
that increase in wisdom and stature and in favor with god and men.
Because though he was 100% god, he was out fully 100% man because he needed to go through a process of development that would make sure that when he entered into the dimension of his most effect of ministry that he would have enough wisdom to say John, I asked that you baptized me first.
He would have enough wisdom to navigate the pharisees and the sadducees If he would have gone on at twelve years old, he would not be who we knew he could be, but because he humbled himself and submitted to somebody and said, I’m gonna be accountable to you because I recognize that a portal that does not have accountability connected to it will allow me to run reckless.
his ministry could have been accelerated.
Had he just stayed in the temple, but acceleration without accountability will always lead to structure.
I say it like this for my uncles. All money ain’t good money.
A bunch of old black men taught me how to play Domino’s.
Oh, money and good money.
If you escape accountability, because you don’t like the teacher or because the teacher doesn’t understand you fully.
Even though that accountability is directly connected to who you know your call to be, You were not hurting them.
You were hurting your destiny. I’m finished.
I just wanna say this. There are people in this room.
And god is calling you to be a teacher.
God is calling you to hold the people in your life accountable.
to who you know that they have been ordained to be.
but you cannot do that recklessly either.
As much as they need the vulnerability to submit to being seen, flaws, and all in front of you.
You need the wisdom to handle their vulnerability.
when god allows you access to where someone has been underdeveloped, you must be wise as a serpent.
You need the holy spirit to make you wise enough to navigate the areas of their lives where they had been damaged and disappointed.
If you were not anointed to be their teacher, I would rather you let them go than to use them as a as a vessel for you to unleash your anger and your discouragement and your disappointment.
because they cannot be who god has called them to be and navigate your anger at the same time.
If you’re not anointed to do it, move out of the way so another teacher can get in position.
