Jentezen Franklin Daily Devotional – October 26, 2026: Standing Firm in the Middle

If you feel like you are “in between” right now—between where you were and where you hope God is taking you—this devotional is for you. Maybe the miracle hasn’t happened yet, the answer hasn’t shown up, or the door still looks shut. Your heart loves God, but your circumstances don’t seem to match His promises. The middle can feel lonely, confusing, and exhausting. Yet this is often where God does His deepest work—quietly strengthening, refining, and preparing you for what’s ahead. Today, God wants to remind you that He has not forgotten you, He has not changed His mind about you, and He is closer than you think. You are not stuck; you are being shaped. You are not abandoned; you are being led. Right here in the middle, His faithfulness is holding you together.

Strength for the In-Between

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 NKJV) Paul wrote these words from prison, not from a place of comfort or clarity. Yet he was confident—deep-down, unshakably sure—that God finishes what He starts. That includes you. Whatever God began in your heart, your family, your calling, or your inner healing, He has not abandoned. Delays do not equal denial. Closed doors do not equal rejection. In God’s hands, the middle is not wasted time; it’s preparation time. When you can’t trace what God is doing, you can still trust who He is—good, faithful, and completely committed to your transformation.

Living with Hope in Ordinary Days

Spiritual growth rarely happens in dramatic moments alone. Most of the time, it unfolds in small, steady choices: opening your Bible when you feel tired, whispering a prayer while you’re stuck in traffic, choosing forgiveness instead of bitterness, speaking blessing instead of complaint. Today, invite God into the ordinary flow of your life—into the emails, the errands, the conversations, and the quiet spaces. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you respond instead of react, to worship instead of worry, and to see interruptions as opportunities for grace. When discouraging thoughts come, answer them with God’s Word: “God, You started a good work in me, and You will complete it.” Let that truth shape the way you talk, think, and walk through this day.

Anchored Faith in a Shifting World

Father, today I bring You my faith—small, shaky, imperfect, but real. Strengthen my trust in You. Where my heart has grown tired, breathe fresh hope. Where disappointment has settled in, uproot it and plant renewed confidence in Your promises. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight, to lean on Your Word instead of my feelings. Grow in me a deeper love for Jesus, a hunger for Your presence, and a desire to obey You even when I do not fully understand. Let my faith be anchored in who You are, not in what I see. As I wait, help me to worship. As I obey, help me to rest. As I move forward, help me to listen for Your still, small voice leading every step.

Grace Over My Home and Relationships

Lord, I place my family and every relationship in Your hands. Cover my home with Your peace. Heal what has been broken—misunderstandings, harsh words, long silences, and hidden hurt. Bring unity where there has been tension. Give us soft hearts, quick repentance, and genuine forgiveness. Protect our children and grandchildren. Guard their minds, their identities, and their futures. Strengthen marriages, restore trust, and remove anything that does not honor You. Let my home be a place where Your presence is felt—in the way we speak, in how we listen, and in how we serve one another. May Your love be the atmosphere we breathe every day.

Healing for Body, Soul, and Mind

Jesus, You are the Great Physician. I lift my health and the health of my loved ones to You. Where there is sickness, release Your healing power. Where there is chronic pain, bring relief and restoration. Where anxiety, depression, or emotional wounds have taken hold, speak peace and wholeness. Help me steward my body with wisdom—through rest, healthy choices, and boundaries. Calm my nervous heart and overactive mind. Let Your presence break the
