Dr. Bill Winston Daily Devotional – October 12, 2026
As you step into this new day, know that God has already gone ahead of you. You are not walking into Monday (or whatever this day holds) alone, unprepared, or unsupported. The Lord who called you, saved you, and planted faith in your heart is right now arranging what you cannot see and strengthening you where you feel the weakest. Today, let this devotional inspired by the faith-filled teaching of Dr. Bill Winston remind you that your life is not random—you are on divine assignment, backed by the kingdom of God. Take a deep breath, open your heart, and let the Holy Spirit speak courage, hope, and bold faith into your spirit.
Rooted in a Promise That Cannot Fail
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’” (Mark 9:23, NKJV) Jesus spoke these words to a desperate father who was tired, discouraged, and out of options. Maybe that’s how you feel today—worn down by circumstances, reports, or delays. Yet Jesus did not lower the promise to match the man’s pain. Instead, He lifted the man’s faith to match God’s power. This verse reminds us that in the kingdom of God, belief is not wishful thinking; it is confident trust in a God who has never once broken His word. When you choose to believe, you move from limitation into possibility. You are not believing in your own strength, but in the unshakable faithfulness of your Father.
Living by Faith in Everyday Moments
Faith is not just for Sunday services or crisis moments; it is for commutes, conversations, meetings, and grocery lines. You exercise faith when you refuse to let fear dictate your decisions, when you forgive instead of staying bitter, when you tithe even when money feels tight, when you speak peace over a child who is acting out, or when you declare God’s promises over a doctor’s report. Today, invite God into the “ordinary” corners of your schedule. Before you answer that email, whisper, “Holy Spirit, guide my words.” Before you respond to bad news, pause and ask, “Lord, what are You saying about this?” As you practice this, your day stops being random and becomes a series of faith-steps, each one drawing you closer to God’s heart and God’s plan.
Strengthened in Faith and Growing in Trust
Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring my faith before You today. Strengthen me on the inside where no one else can see. Tear down every lie that says I am stuck, overlooked, or defeated. I choose to trust You when I understand and when I do not. Grow my faith beyond feelings and into firm conviction. Help me to see with spiritual eyes, not just natural sight. Holy Spirit, teach me to rely on You moment by moment. May Your Word come alive in me, changing how I think, speak, and respond. Today, I surrender my doubts, my timelines, and my fears. I receive fresh grace to believe that with You, nothing is impossible and that You are working all things together for my good and for Your glory.
Covering Our Homes with God’s Peace
Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. Cover our home with Your peace and drive out every spirit of division, strife, and confusion. Heal old wounds, restore broken trust, and soften hardened hearts. Teach us to speak life over one another and to listen with compassion. Protect our marriages, our children, our parents, and our friendships. Let forgiveness flow freely in our homes so that no root of bitterness can take hold. May our house be a place where Your presence is welcome, where prayer is natural, and where Your love is felt in every room. Use our family as a light in our neighborhood, a living testimony that when Jesus is Lord of a home, there is hope, unity, and joy.
Health, Healing, and Inner Strength
Lord Jesus, You are my healer. I bring my body, mind, and emotions to You. Where there is pain, send Your healing power. Where there is weakness, be my strength. Where there is anxiety, pour in Your perfect peace. I speak life to every cell, organ, and system in my body in the name of Jesus. Let my immune system be strong, my mind clear, and my sleep peaceful. Heal emotional wounds, silent battles, and hidden grief. Restore my joy and renew my energy. Teach me
