Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional – October 10, 2026: Standing Steady in a Shaking World

If your heart feels a little tired today, you are not alone. All across America, believers are waking up with questions about the future, concerns about family, finances, health, and the swirl of news that never seems to stop. Yet right in the middle of that noise, the Lord is whispering something steady and strong: “You can trust Me.” Today’s devotional is an invitation to lean in, breathe deep, and remember that your life is anchored to a God who cannot be shaken. As you read and pray, expect the Holy Spirit to meet you where you are, lift the heaviness, and renew your hope from the inside out.

Rooted in an Unshakeable Promise

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV)
In a world where everything changes—jobs, prices, leaders, even our own emotions—this verse stands like a rock in the river. Jesus is not moody. He does not wake up less loving, less powerful, or less willing to help you than He was yesterday. The same Jesus who calmed storms, healed broken bodies, forgave sinners, and fed multitudes is the One living in you and walking with you today. When fear tries to pull you into tomorrow’s “what ifs,” Hebrews 13:8 pulls you back to this solid truth: your Savior never changes, and His heart toward you is always good.

Living with Quiet Confidence Today

Because Jesus is the same, you don’t have to be ruled by the latest headline or your latest mistake. You can make choices today from a place of confidence instead of panic. Take a moment and picture yourself handing your worries to the Lord—your bills, your kids, that doctor’s report, the conflict at work. Say out loud, “Jesus, You have not changed. You are still faithful.” Then choose one small step of obedience: forgive someone, encourage a coworker, open your Bible before you open social media, or give thanks instead of complaining. Spiritual growth rarely comes in huge dramatic moments; it comes through daily, quiet yeses to God. As you keep saying yes, your heart will grow stronger and your perspective clearer.

Growing Deeper in Faith and Trust

Father, in Jesus’ name, I bring my faith before You today. I confess that sometimes I look more at what I see than at what You have said. Forgive me for every moment of worry that I’ve treated as normal instead of bringing it to You. Holy Spirit, stretch my faith. Help me to believe Your Word over my feelings, Your promises over the reports of this world. Teach me to listen for Your voice in the quiet and in the rush of my day. Strengthen my trust so that when circumstances shake, my heart remains calm, knowing that my life is hidden with Christ in God. Let my faith not just be words I say at church but a living confidence that shapes how I think, speak, and act today.

Covering Our Homes with Peace

Lord, I lift my family and loved ones to You. You see every tension, every unspoken fear, and every hidden hurt in our homes. Bring Your peace into our conversations and Your gentleness into our disagreements. Heal strained marriages, restore parents’ hearts to their children, and children’s hearts to their parents. Guard our homes from division, resentment, and unforgiveness. Let our houses become places of laughter, grace, and safety. Give us the courage to say, “I’m sorry” and “I forgive you.” Surround my family—near and far—with Your presence, and write Your love story over every relationship connected to my life.

Strength for Body, Mind, and Soul

Heavenly Father, I bring my health before You. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is sickness, release healing. Where there is long-term struggle, pour out fresh strength and endurance. Calm anxious thoughts and lift the cloud of depression. Align my body with Your design and my mind with Your truth. Show me any practical steps I need to take—rest, wise eating, movement, or medical help—without fear or shame. Thank You that Jesus carried my sickness and my sorrow at the cross, and that by His stripes I am healed. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus today.
