Well, this question from Daniel says, what are the signs then of a spiritually mature person?
Well, I think that they are, even though they feel like doing the wrong thing, they do the right thing.
I always say if you do what’s right when it feels wrong, That means you’re growing. Yeah.
If you do what’s right when it’s easy and feels right, then that means you have grown.
And so we we can’t just
Yeah.
We can’t just not do things because they’re hard, or we don’t feel like doing them.
Yeah. The the big thing I think is is understanding this spiritual maturity does come with a lot of work.
Right.
And so that’s one reason I like this question from Kindra from North Carolina.
Can a young person be spiritually mature, or is it all about aging?
No. It’s definitely not all about aging.
I know people that have been Christians for 50 years that aren’t as mature as maybe some people that have only been born again 3 years.
It really depends on understanding how really, really important it is.
And how obedient you’re willing to be. Yeah.
You know, how many times do we hear people say, I know I shouldn’t do this, but Yeah.
Or I know I should do this, but.
But well,
that that I mean, that’s a problem because that’s saying I know what’s right, and I know what’s wrong, but I’m still gonna do what I want to.
Right.
And we We just can’t do that. You know, I mean, Jesus said, your will be done, not mine. Yeah.
And that needs to be the way that we live. And it is work.
You have to study the word And today, I think that, you know, we get downloads of everything, but you can’t get spiritual maturity downloaded into your character.
It’s something Wouldn’t that be
nice? Yeah.
It’s something that you you need to work with the Holy Spirit on.
You need to expect to be tested and realize that if you fail those tests, god still loves you, but you will get to take the test again.
Yeah. And it’s anytime that we do what’s hard for us, there’s a certain amount of work involved in it.
