The Shooting Forth – Jonathan Cahn Sermon
The Shooting Forth – Jonathan Cahn Sermon
“The Almighty has His own purposes…. Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman’s two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said, that the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.”3”

So Messiah’s gonna be called the springing forth, the dawning, the blossoming and you get sunrise in the New Testament.
Zechariah. The priest is quoting from the same section of Isaiah Emmanuel section where he says he will shine on those who dwell in darkness.
He’s what’s that from? That’s from, that’s from Isaiah nine.
It says that the people who dwell in darkness will see a great light, the light, the light of God, Isaiah 60 says what a rise and shine for your light has come.
Who? Messiahs the light? It’s like a sunrise. When he comes into your life, it’s like a sunrise.
So Jeremiah, he’s called the righteous and yet at the and yet at the same time at the end of the by at the end of the Hebrew scriptures, it says the sun in the sky, the S U N of righteousness will rise.
So my Messiah, some of the last words of the Old Testament.
So the name of Messiah is the branch and the sunrise and try to come to put it together, picture it this way, picture you’re watching a sunrise.
It’s the beginning. It’s the sun is just breaking over the horizon and you know, it just breaks and all of a sudden the rays of the sun start shooting out, you know, it starts from the, you just see, you start seeing the light, then you suddenly, when it just peaks, you see that and that’s kind of where the Messiah came.
It’s like things are coming. It’s getting closer.
You all the profits are talking about, then suddenly it peeks through and you start shooting out.
Now now putting out take another picture, picture instead of the over the horizon.
It’s a tree like of light, but it’s a tree and the tree is shooting out branches, we’ll put them together.
And that’s where you get the connection, the shooting out of the branch, the tree and the shooting out of the light of the sunrise.

He will be the, the Bible says that he is the Hebrew book of Hebrews says he is the radiance of God.
He’s radiant. Now the word soma and this word of sunrise is a, is a, is a total revelation of Messiah.
Why is he called the branch? Well, first, because he’s born among us, he comes on the tree of man.
We said he’s born, he’s not a God who he’s not someone who is such a lie who comes here.
He is the God who comes to us. He shares in everything that you share. He shared in your childhood.
He knows what pain is. He knows what loneliness is. He knows what rejection is.
He knows what, what getting wounded is. He knows all that.
So he came to be one of us so he can save us. He’s the branch.
But it also tomato also means that which grows, which starts out small like a sunrise or like a little shoot and grows and grows.
It says in Isaiah 53 that amazing chapter about the the death of Messiah prophecy before it happened.
It says he grew up like a shoot out of dry ground. He’s born in weakness.
He learned, he grew, he learned how to walk. He learned how to talk, he learned how to be cold.
So he learned to have flesh and blood so he could, he could give his life for us.
