The Prophetic Word – Trump’s Jerusalem Declaration: Jonathan Cahn

Open up to Psalm 1 22.
And this message is called the Jerusalem Declaration Part one. Psalm 1 22.
I was glad and some of you will be going to Israel and Jerusalem.
I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord.
Our feet are standing within your gates of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem that is built like a city compact together to which the tribes go up.
Even the tribes of the Lord and ordinance for Israel to give thanks to the name of the Lord for their Thrones were set for judgment.
The Thrones of the house of David, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
May they prosper who love you may peace?
May shalom be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces for the sake of my brothers and my friends.
I will now say, may peace shalom be within you for the sake of the House of the Lord, our God.
I will seek your good. This past Wednesday, December 6th 2017 was an event of colossal magnitude, gigantic, politically, historically, biblically and prophetically this past Wednesday America through President Donald Trump recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the nation of Israel.
This had never taken place in all the years of Israel’s existence.
Not only had America never recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. No nation had ever done it.
It was the first nation just as in 1948 through Harry Truman, President America was the first nation to recognize Israel at the moment, within minutes of it being reborn.
And like Trump, he had also made that decision against the advice and pressure of many.
There was even more pressure against Donald Trump making this decision.
What does it mean politically, historically, prophetically and to your life?
That’s what I’m gonna open up this weekend again.
Obviously, it wasn’t planned because we didn’t know we knew there was a chance, we actually prayed before him, but I had two other messages planned this weekend, but I preempted them because of what happened because it’s important to speak about it again.
It’s going to Sunday. It might even again spill over into Hanukkah.
It is very rare for me to do a message beginning on Sunday and then going into actually on Friday, going into Sunday.
But that’s what this will be.
Part one and part two and, and Part two, we’re gonna get into the prophetic even more about the prophetic significance and the mystery that is surrounding this.
But here we’re gonna do a lot as well. What was your reaction when you heard it?
I, I was in Illinois. I was in Marion, Illinois in the middle of taping a television program.
I went to my cell phone in between taping to check if he had done it.
And when I saw it, I just, I just started laughing.
I mean, it was just, he did it and even though reports were there that it could be, he was supposed to happen, it seemed still a surprise, kind of like the election of Donald Trump.
And this is, by the way, it is not political and it’s not about.
And we got to pray for the Palestinians and the Arabs and the Muslims and the Jewish people just as well.
But we’re talking about God’s ways.
I saw the news looking at the same cell phone that that I looked at when I was in Jerusalem, when he was elected president, I was in Jerusalem and it was kind of similar because it was kind of shocking, but it was a good shock.
Hang on 1 2nd when the enemy, enemy especially doesn’t like something.
You know, it’s hard to compare.
It had to be a little bit like What it would have been in 1967.
When you heard that Israel had liberated Jerusalem, a prophetic event, a liberating event.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
We call the house, this building, the Jerusalem center made after the pattern of Jerusalem. Why?
Because Jerusalem is not only the center of the earth, it’s the center of our faith.
What a difference a year makes. one year ago.
This month, December, Barack Obama was still president at the very end of his term as his last gift to the Jewish people in Israel.
He helped engineer a United Nations vote in December 2016 where he instructed the United States ambassador to let it go through.
What was that resolution that America under the last administration let pass, what was it?
It was all about Israel and Jerusalem and the resolution called Israel, the occupying power.
It would be like calling America the occupying power of Washington DC.
That Israel it stated basically that it had no real right to Jerusalem and America went with it further.
It condemned all measures of Israel to do anything in the city of Jerusalem.
It’s specifically called East Jerusalem, which is biblical Jerusalem.
It said it called it more than once said it is Palestinian territory.
You know, the world talks about don’t prejudice the issue.
Well, they went full blast and nobody had any problems with this.
It was Palestinian territory and for the people of Israel to live or do anything there, it basically was illegal.
That’s what said it was a violation.
Amazing because in 1948 Jordan took Jerusalem by force and kept it for 19 years and literally destroyed the Jewish quarter.
Didn’t allow any Jew to worship, made the holy sites into garbage dumps.
How many condemnations of the United Nations pass against that zero a year ago.
Donald Trump called on Obama to veto that resolution but Obama refused, Trump said he would address what happened, but that’s what America did under the last administration one year ago.
And that’s how that administration ended.
