The Inescapable Corruption of Sin

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

We live in a postmodern era where the concept of absolute truth is increasingly rejected, and many are questioning or denying its existence. This rebellion against truth is, in essence, a rebellion against the God of truth. However, the reality remains that truth exists, and God has established truth in all aspects of life, from the physical world to the spiritual realm. There is an unchangeable, absolute law at work, whether or not you believe in it. In Galatians 6:7, the Bible clearly presents this law: “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”

This verse explains a fundamental, undeniable truth: “what you sow, you will reap.” This concept is self-evident, much like an agricultural principle. If you plant seeds, you will eventually harvest their corresponding fruit. While Paul uses agriculture as an illustration, he is ultimately referring to the realm of spiritual life. He explains that if you sow to the flesh (sin), you will inevitably reap corruption, decay, death, or destruction. On the other hand, if you sow to the Spirit (righteousness), you will reap eternal life. Every person is sowing to either the flesh or the Spirit, and the outcome is certain.

Sin carries consequences in every area of life: personally, physically, relationally, nationally, and even globally. Most importantly, sin has eternal consequences. Every sin will ultimately be judged. In today’s world, many people are asking whether things will improve. Is there hope for the future, or will this be the new normal? The answer lies in the law of sowing and reaping. When enough people consistently sow to the flesh through sin, it creates a buildup of corruption that cannot be avoided. God will not override this law. The world is so dominated by sin that a harvest of corruption, destruction, and death is inevitable.

While some people hope for change or a better future, they offer differing solutions. There are global elites advocating for a “green new world order” to save the planet, and social anarchists pushing for a societal reset through chaos and violence. There are also those exploiting racial division, attacking unity, marriage, family, and morality. These groups, along with others, are using crises like the COVID-19 lockdown to further their agendas. However, the church of Jesus Christ stands as the primary opposition to these efforts. Marginalizing the church is a key strategy in their pursuit of a societal reset.

Some individuals still hope for divine intervention and the restoration of values like kindness, democracy, and capitalism. But if we were to identify what it would truly take for God to bless America, many politicians, media leaders, and others would be offended by the answer.
