Call to Me, and I Will Show You Great and Mighty Things

Jonathan Cahn then turned to a prophetic message centered on the powerful promise found in the Book of Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 33:3: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know. text Jeremiah text Call  to  Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

He explained that God always has more for His people more revelation, more victory, more intimacy, more power, and more purpose. According to Cahn, believers only receive as much of God as they are willing to seek.

If you do not seek, you do not find, he said. “But God promises that everyone who seeks Him will find Him.

The Hebrew root behind the word seek carries the meaning of boldly pursuing or encountering God. It is not passive prayer or casual religion. It is wholehearted pursuit.

God’s promise is absolute:
If you seek Him with all your heart, He will answer.

The Meaning of Great and Mighty Things

Jonathan Cahn explored the Hebrew words in Jeremiah 33:3 to reveal deeper spiritual truths.

 Gadol Great Beyond Measure

Gadol great, exceeding, higher, beyond text Gadol text great, exceeding, higher, beyond}

The Hebrew word gadol means great, vast, exceeding, and higher. Cahn explained that the plural form used in the verse points to blessings that are beyond human language and comprehension realities greater than what words can fully describe.

God is not promising merely one blessing or breakthrough. He is promising a life continually filled with greater things.

“Betsurot” Hidden and Inaccessible Things

Betsurot hidden, fortified, inaccessible things text Betsurot text hidden, fortified, inaccessible things}

This Hebrew word refers to things fenced in, hidden away, impossible to reach, or too high to attain.

Cahn declared that God wants to unlock what once seemed unreachable:

  • The victory you never thought possible
  • Freedom from lifelong struggles
  • Spiritual heights you thought you could never attain
  • Hidden revelations and blessings reserved for those who seek Him

The inaccessible will become accessible through God’s power.

There Is Always More of God

One of the central themes of the message was this truth: there is no end to knowing God.

Even believers who have walked with God for decades still know only a fraction of His fullness because God is infinite.

Cahn warned that many believers and churches become spiritually stagnant when they stop seeking what they do not yet know. Familiarity can lead to spiritual deadness.

God’s mercies are new every day. His Word is always alive and fresh. A verse heard a thousand times can still carry a new revelation today.

He encouraged believers never to say:
“I already know that.”

With God, there is always more.

Four Keys to Receiving More from God

1. Seek God Daily With Purpose

Spend time every day not only praying, but intentionally seeking deeper intimacy with God.

Ask Him for:

  • Greater love
  • Greater wisdom
  • Greater power
  • Greater revelation
  • A fresh experience of His presence

Pray:
“Lord, show me what I do not yet know of You.”

2. Stretch Your Faith

Cahn emphasized that believing comes before seeing.

If a believer refuses to believe freedom is possible, victory will remain out of reach even when God has already opened the door.

Faith means accepting God’s promises as reality:

  • You can overcome
  • You can change
  • You can walk in victory
  • You can become free

Believe for greater things.

3. Stay Open to the New

When people first come to God, they are teachable, hungry, and expectant. But over time many lose that openness.

Cahn urged believers to remain spiritually teachable and childlike before God.

No matter how many years someone has walked with the Lord, there is infinitely more still to discover.

Eternity itself exists because it takes forever to fully know God.

4. Be Willing to Change

Every genuine move of God produces transformation.

If believers want new blessings, they must be willing to embrace new growth, new obedience, and new steps of faith.

That may mean:

  • Changing habits
  • Adjusting priorities
  • Letting go of comfort zones
  • Renewing thought patterns
  • Rearranging schedules to pursue God more deeply

A heart open to God becomes a vessel ready to receive “great and mighty things.”

God Is the God of Surprises

Jonathan Cahn also reflected on how God continually surprises His people throughout Scripture.

God surprised:

  • Moses through the burning bush
  • Mary with the miraculous conception
  • The disciples with the resurrection of Jesus
  • The early church with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Salvation itself is a divine surprise.

God does not want believers to settle into lifeless routine or predictable faith. He is always doing something new.

As Cahn explained, when churches stop expecting surprise, wonder, and fresh revelation, spiritual deadness follows.

God still wants to surprise His people today.
