The American Wokeness | Jonathan Cahn Sermon
The American Wokeness | Jonathan Cahn Sermon
“To be heedless when God is speaking, by whatever voice He may address us, is surely iniquitous enough, but to act in deliberate defiance of the Almighty is, by many degrees, worse.9 “Proud defiance of God always brings disaster.”

There is no name given under heaven, no other name by which we can be saved.
The Hebrew prayer prayer that’s said in the synagogues in Callahan. New means aim. There is none like our God.
Now all the Athenians and the strangers visiting Athens used to spend their time doing nothing other than telling or hearing something new.
That’s a little, a little editorial from Luke Harry op Agus means the Council of Aries.
Aries is a Greek God. Aries is the God of war.
They had their counsel on the hill of the God.
They had their, they had some people believe they had their government, their, they had their trials there.
Aries is the Greek God of war. When he came to Rome.
When he was brought into Rome, he became Mars. So this is also called Mars Hill. Paul is standing.
So here is the government meeting on the hill of God, the God of war.
And when they referred to Paul and his message and, and the God that he’s preaching the God of Israel, they call him a dia mon e in a small God or demon.
Why? That’s the nature of evil? I mean, we don’t know what they thought of it.
But the word means that the nature of evil is to call evil good.
The nature of evil is to call good evil. And what is true, false and what is false, true.
So in our day, evil is called good and good is called evil.
Even some people speak of it as if it was demonic.
Remember when Roe versus Wade was overturned, you know, that leaders were calling that ruling, which is actually trying to stop killing babies.

Remember when Roe versus Wade was overturned, you know, that leaders were calling that ruling, which is actually trying to stop killing babies.
They called it quote an abomination to darkness.
Darkness is light, light is dark to to the to to the enemy. Sin is holy and holiness is sin.
So in Isaiah, it’s written woe to those who call evil, good and good evil. Interesting.
The order here is first they call evil good, then they call good evil doesn’t have to mean that.
But that’s the order. That’s how it happens. That’s how it happened in America.
First it was listen, do your own thing embraces be open everybody, you know, whatever is good, whatever, you know, it feels good.
Do it open. Evil is good. Hey, be tolerant, tolerant. It’s all good.
But then once it gets in the door, it switches to the other side too.
Now we call what is good evil and that is why now more and more years a growing intolerance of righteousness, intolerance of what is good of God of the word of believers.
Now, first, as openness, anything goes once it gets in power. Now we counsel you. Now we indoctrinate you.
Now you are gonna be, you’re gonna come to our training session on your job so we can tell you what you have to celebrate.
Now, persecution coming. So that’s the way it goes.
And this is the, this here Athens is the crown of the pagan world.
It’s embracing all sorts of darkness and calling God Messiah a strange Damon or demon or some kind of little God.
They’re under the influence of the gods to the God, the gods are demonic.
So to the demonic God is demonic and demonic is God to them.
This is exactly what we would expect to end time. Culture. This has to do with you.
As in the days of Elijah, remember Ahab says to Elijah, you trouble er of Israel, you’re the troublemaker and Elijah answers right back says no, it’s not me.
I’m not the trouble. I’m not the one who troubles Israel.
You are the trouble er, of Israel because you have abandoned the God of Israel.
So to a kingdom of evil, they will see you believers as troublemakers. Rebels hate mongers.
It’s a radical thing, but we have to realize what we’re again, we’re not against people.
Paul never came against people. He was stirred up against the idols, the gods, the Principalities, even if people make you the enemy, you are never to make them your enemy that you have to pray for them.
Athens was under the influence. Paul saw them as under the influence.
And so he was seeking to free them from the influence. We are not fighting people, we are fighting Principalities.
We wore not against flesh and blood, we war against Principalities though, so we can free flesh and blood from those Principalities.
They’re calling God a strange God. But you know, in some way, he is a strange God.
He is a strange God because he is different from every other God.
When the last chapter of the book, I, I want, I focus on the other God, which is the God.
He’s the only one. There’s none like him. He’s different.
And all the gods of the Greeks and the Romans and the Babylonians and the Egyptians and all the rest of the world, every, everybody was worshiping gods without the gospel, everybody was worshiping gods.
That’s what it was. He stood out. He was nothing like that. He was nothing like them.
Couldn’t see him, couldn’t touch him, couldn’t, couldn’t worship an idol of him.
He wasn’t the God of the mountains of the God of that. He is the God of everything.
The God of all was he called El Elion. Was that God the most high God.
Yeah, I am nothing like them. He’s not so Messiah is unlike everyone. You can’t even compare him.
Can’t compare him with Mohammed or Buddha or anybody else.
There’s no comparison among other things, they all died and was buried. Messiah alone has an empty tomb.
They spoke of what they thought was the truth. You know, Buddha thought he was enlightened.
That’s what Buddha means. And so he said, I discovered this way and it was just, you know, and so that’s what he thought.
That’s what I think it is. And he was lost and he, by his own admission was lost.
Before that Mohammed was hearing voices. He thought they were the Gin or the demons. But somebody convinced them.
No, it’s God and that changed everything. Buddha.
You know, Messiah didn’t, didn’t say I’m gonna, I’m just gonna let me tell you about what I think about the truth.
Messiah said I am the truth. Nobody talks like that. Nobody talks like that to this day.
Nobody talks like they can’t. Buddha called him.
He was called the enlightened one beside it sounding like he is the light. No comparison.
All time is divided by the birth of this one.
Every, every Muslim, every communist, every Buddhist, every secular person, everyone in Satan worship, they all have to date their lives by the birth of Messiah Jesus.
There is none like him. There is no name given under heaven.
No other name by which we can be saved.
The Hebrew prayer prayer that’s said in the synagogues in Callahan New means aim.
There is none like our God in Kaduna New. There is none like our Lord Amen. Kim. Okay.
No, there is none like our king in commotion. There is none like our savior and deliverer.
The song of Moses Moses comes up with has a song and a song after they leave Egypt, he says me Homolka.
But Elim Adonai who is like you among the gods. O Lord, there is none like you perfect in holiness.
Doing awesome in wonders. Who is like you o Lord the archangel, Michael has a Hebrew name that means means me who like El, who is like God, nobody, there’s nobody.
He’s beyond all. He was strange to them because they didn’t know him.
Those who don’t know him, he’s gonna be strange to them to the orthodox Jew. Those who don’t know Messiah.
He’s strange to them to the Muslims, don’t even think he’s Jewish.
They think he’s, he’s of the world to the Muslim. He’s strange to the Buddhist.
He’s strange to the communists, to the atheist. He’s strange among many, most who call themselves Christians. He’s strange.
And before we knew him, he was a stranger to us. He’s different though.
That’s why he makes a difference. He’s different. That’s why he makes a difference.
That’s the only way you can make a difference because he’s different and that’s the only way you can make a difference if you’re different.
We try to understand God.
There’s all sorts of theologies and doctrines and, and you know, God can use theology.
God can use doctrine but we gotta be careful.
You can’t put God in a box, you can’t put God in your doctrinal box and you understand Him, that’s how people actually go off.
You can’t understand God. You can’t comprehend God. You, you’re not called to understand everything about God.
You’re called to know God. That’s different. You just, you know, you can’t figure out his ways. Okay.
Neither could job and look at God says, can’t job. Can you untie the belt of Orion?
You don’t have to figure it all out. You just have to know me.
Trust me, I love you, trust me.
It says, he said, the highest heavens cannot contain God, the highest heavens cannot contain Him.
Paul in Romans said, who can know the mind of God who can be as counselor? Nobody.
God is different different from everything in this universe. That’s why we can’t compare Him.
We can come up with things.
But you know, you know, he’s the father, he’s our father more than anybody’s our father yet, he’s unlike any father, he’s the king, he’s our king.
But unlike any other, he’s above any king. He’s the beloved, he’s your beloved.
But unlike any beloved above, there’s a Hebrew prayer also ancient, called the codfish.
And, and it says this, it says high above far above all hymns and praises and consolations that are uttered in this world.
God. You are above even every word we even even your above this, you’re above even telling are telling you you’re above, you’re above our words.
Beyond any theology, beyond any doctrine. He’s always above, he’s more, he’s always knew.
And that good news is, there’s always more of God. There’s always more to discover.
There’s as much for you to know about God as there was when you first came to the Lord.
Say, wait a minute. But I know this, this, this but he’s infinite.
It doesn’t matter the leaders of the city there.
They wanted to examine the message of Paul to see if they would allow him to keep preaching in the city or silence him.
So that’s the reason that’s their purpose. But Paul has another purpose.
He says, I’m not here to get their approval to preach the gospel. I’m here to preach the gospel.
Anyway, Paul is supposed to get the approval. He says, I’m not gonna wait for the approval.
I’m gonna use this to actually preach, don’t live your life trying to get the approval of men.
You don’t need the approval of man.
You need the approval of God and you’ve got that in the gospel.
Give your here to get them to be approved by God.
You’re not here to be accepted, you already are accepted, you’re here to get them accepted into you.
You’re in, you’re in the in crowd, you’re in, you’re not on the outs.
Yeah, I mean for the world you’re on the outside, you’re in there out, you gotta get them in.
Don’t wait to do God’s will for everything to work out.
So now and then I’m gonna serve God when everything in my life.
No, do God’s will now where you are here and now don’t wait for things to change in order for you to be praising.
Thanking glorifying God, praise glorify. Thank God now and you will have the victory.
Don’t wait for the victory to come so you can thank God for it. Thank God for it.
Now the victory will come. That’s the kingdom. Hi, I’m Jonathan Cahn.
