Thankful Thursday Blessings

Dear God, thank You for growing me in ways I didn’t know I needed. When I think back and reflect on all the things I’ve been through, one thing is constant… You were always there. You stretched me and took me out of my comfort zone. When I started to get complacent, You began preparing me for a shift. I’m thankful, and I’m ready for a new beginning. Thank You for walking with me through every step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. -Isaiah 65:17

Prayer of the Day:

Dear loving God, I ask You to forgive me for all the harsh things I’ve said about other people. Also, please forgive me for allowing harsh thoughts to fill my mind—about myself or about others. I know I can’t make myself more loving, but You can. Please, help me focus on healthy, positive thoughts, for I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, thank You for a new sunrise that I can appreciate while in Your presence on this beautiful morning. I praise and bless You for the infinite love You have for me. I ask You to teach me to love so that all my actions, words, and thoughts may humbly reflect Your love.

My God, grant me the ability to be sensitive to Your will so that I may always discern what You desire of me. Today, I offer You everything in my heart—my doubts, uncertainties, ignorance, and weaknesses—so that You may take them and fill me with Your truth. Give me certainty and trust in Your actions, confidence in the path I walk, and wisdom to understand Your mysteries.

Thank You for the gift of life, for being alive is already a demonstration of Your love, inspiring me to give my best. Help me, my God, to allow myself to be found by You. I open my heart to You, offering each of my thoughts, desiring to be faithful to You. Grant me the gift of perseverance, for there is no other way of life that gives so much meaning to my existence. May my being sing of Your greatness, and may my soul praise a God so good.

Thank You, my God, for helping me become a person who builds their future day by day with dedication and effort. Bless me and help me move forward, feeling Your presence encouraging me to fight and not give up. I know that You always place in my path what I need to grow as a person, but I often struggle to understand this. Therefore, I ask You to give me the gift of understanding so that I may comprehend the mysteries of my life.

Lord, I also ask today that You grant me the ability to be patient and understanding with others, that I may reflect Your love and mercy in every encounter, conversation, and action. Give me the grace to see Your face in every person I meet, especially in those who need it most. Help me to be an instrument of Your peace and love, bringing comfort and hope to those who are afflicted and discouraged.

Thank You, Lord, for this new day You have given me. Thank You for Your unconditional love and constant presence in my life. May my life be a testimony of Your love and grace, and may everything I do be to glorify Your name. I offer You my thoughts, words, and actions—may everything I do today honor You and serve others. Lord of mercy, may Your love and peace reign in my heart, so that every step I take today brings me closer to You. Amen.

I will offer my help in my parish or community, collaborating in any activity or project that needs voluntary hands.

My God, I will sing You a new song; I will play the ten-stringed harp for You, who give victory to kings and save Your servant David. Psalm 143.

May the Lord bless us today. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
