God expects us to be responsible and take care of what He gives us. He wants us to use all He’s given us to bear good fruit (John 15:16). If we do not use the gifts and talents, He has given us when He directs us to, then we are not being responsible over what He has entrusted to us.

If you are a procrastinator, I urge you to heed the instruction of Ecclesiastes 11:4. You don’t have to wait until everything seems perfect and your emotions are excited to obey God. Do what He says to do when He says to do it, and you will reap the blessings of obedience.

This Sunday morning, may you experience the hope of God’s blessings and His love. May today be filled with His wonderful presence.

Dear Lord,

As we gather on this Sunday morning, February 18, 2024, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of another day and the opportunity to gather in your name. Thank you for your love that knows no bounds and your mercy that is new every morning.

On this day, we ask for your presence to be felt in our midst. Open our hearts to receive your word with joy and understanding. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may be empowered to live out our faith with boldness and compassion.

Bless our families, Lord. Strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and forgiveness among us. May our homes be places of peace and refuge, where your presence is felt and your love is shared abundantly.

As we come before you in worship and fellowship, may our souls be refreshed and renewed. Help us to worship you in spirit and in truth, offering our praise and thanksgiving with sincerity and humility.

Guide us throughout this day, Lord, and lead us in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake. May our lives be a reflection of your love and grace, shining brightly for all to see.

We commit this day into your hands, trusting in your goodness and faithfulness. May your blessings flow abundantly in our lives, and may we be channels of your blessings to others.

Lord, on this Sunday I pray that all church services that are happening in the world would experience your manifest presence and power. That the lost would come to know the saving grace of Your Son, Jesus, and that the Body of Christ would be strengthened and equipped to do Your will. In the name of Jesus, Amen, and amen.

Father God, I present this Sunday to You and ask that You would bless my family. Lord, give us the wisdom and discernment we will need for this day. Guide our steps and help us to be Your hands and feet to this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
