Reset: Stop Tripping // Pastor Michael Todd

How Can We Pray For You? Have you signed up yet?

Happy New Year, Transformation Church! I’m so glad you’re joining us for this first Sunday of the brand-new year. What better way to start than with a reset? There are areas in my life where I know I need a fresh start, and I believe, if you’re humble, open, and honest, you might need one too—whether that’s financially, emotionally, relationally, or in any area of your life. I believe God has given me a plan and principles that can help you—and myself—reset for 2025. I’m confident this year is going to be the best of your life, especially spiritually.

I want to walk alongside you. I want to be your coach, your pastor, and your source of supplemental content. I aim to be a voice that hears from God and speaks to your situation. You’re going to love today’s message. Before I dive in, I need to tell you about 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting starting January 6. For 21 days, we’ll pray for God’s will, vision, and clarity in your life, your family, and your business. I’d love for you to join us. There are many types of fasts you can choose, but I encourage you to commit to pushing something away to draw closer to God. This is going to be a life-changing moment.

From January 6 through the 26, we’ll gather every night at 6:00 p.m. to pray. If you’re not in Tulsa, no worries—you can join us online. We’ll pray for God’s will to be done. I love you, and I’m excited to help you reset today.

I feel a special assignment today—both prophetic and pastoral—to prepare you for what God will do in your life. Many of us have dragged ourselves into this new year, and some of us entered 2025 with fear, anxiety, or a lack of expectation. You may have hoped this year wouldn’t be like the last, but today, you’re in the house of hope. I’m here to prophetically encourage you into a new season.

I’m not here to convince the doubters, but I’m speaking to those who deep down know there’s more God wants to do. For the three of you who sense that the movie isn’t over, there are more scenes to unfold, and you haven’t read the final chapter of the book God has written for you—this message is for you. If you believe that your marriage isn’t over, that your children’s salvation is coming, and that the struggles with addiction won’t define you next year, then this is your moment. If you believe your grief will transform into a testimony of God’s goodness, let me hear you.

God is not done with us yet! I feel this deep in my spirit, and I know some of you are holding onto faith despite the challenges you see. We don’t react to what we see; we react to what we believe. The Bible tells us to trust God’s promises, even when our circumstances don’t align with our expectations. I need at least a hundred of you to praise God not for what you see, but for what you believe He is about to do. Let’s give God a praise that’s not dependent on the situation we’re in right now.

Praise Him for what’s coming, not just for what is. Hallelujah! God is worthy of it all!
